We can only agree with everything said. This site definitely deserves more than 2 stars. €15 per night for a camper with 2 people. Showers and toilets are excellent, with toilet paper provided. Although the site was full, there were no queues. The short walk to the bay and harbour is beautiful. We ate the best fish and chips of the trip at Le Méditerrané. Yes, they are a little brusque there, but very nice.✦Translating

Great campsite, 4 people and a camper for just over €20. The first-come, choose-your-own-pitch principle is rather unusual, because some pitches are very large and others small, but they all cost the same. You can identify them by the yellow stones in the ground.✦Translating

In 2026, back after three years. Still one of the best campsites a traveller could hope to find. Everything you need is available. Clean, well maintained and very fairly priced. If staying longer, plan your grocery shopping a little. Pastries, some basic necessities and a small selection of prepared foods are available at the nearby grocery shop. We really enjoyed this small campsite, very friendly and beautifully landscaped, close to the beach and the GR223 hiking trail with magnificent views over the bay. Nice pitch at a reasonable price. Typical nearby village, but no shops.✦Translating

Friendly campsite with beautiful open spaces. The ladies at reception are very kind. Sanitary facilities are very clean. Convenient motorhome waste disposal and filling point. Bring €2 coins because it is paid. The west coast is magnificent: Port Racine, Gouzy Lighthouse, Nez de Jobourg. La Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg is very interesting. I highly recommend it.

Simple but pleasant campsite 500 m from the harbour. Clean sanitary facilities and showers. It fills up very quickly. It is preferable to arrive in the morning to maximise your chances of finding a pitch. Price for one night in a motorhome with 2 people, without electricity: €15.94. Simple and pleasant campsite, just behind the harbour, with beautiful walks along the coastal path and even better cycling routes towards La Hague and Nez de Jobourg. Jacques Prévert's house and the Dourt cultural site are nearby.✦Translating

Great site, very quiet and small. Reservations are not possible. When we arrived nobody was there, but the barrier was open and a note said to choose a pitch. The next day it was easy to check in and pay. Right next door is a bar/bistro with an integrated mini-market. Fresh-water filling for 20 minutes for a small fee. This is not the first time we have come here. Everything is still the same. Everything is neat. Not far from the harbour, where you can eat mussels and chips. The only minor drawback is that you still have to pay extra for water and rinsing the chemical toilet.✦Translating

Pretty campsite with unallocated pitches next to the harbour and village, very quiet at the end of the season. No reception. Old sanitary facilities in need of renovation and only moderately clean, which lowers the value for money. Since wild camping is prohibited along the entire coast, there is not really a choice.✦Translating

Really excellent campsite! Everything you need is here, it is quiet and the welcome is perfect, in a very pretty little village! It is also very inexpensive for one night. I give it 4/5 because I could not connect to the water.

Quiet, pleasant surroundings even without a view. Charming footpath to the harbour. Unrestricted, free setup with no time constraints is a real plus. Very reasonable price: €25 with electricity for 2 adults, 1 baby and 1 dog. Friendly welcome. Great dishwashing area. Older, less clean shower. The grocery shop next door has an unfriendly saleswoman. You need two €1 coins, or wait until reception opens, to fill up with water.

Campsite with pitches large enough for a motorhome. Close to the village and seaside. Small grocery shop useful in a pinch, but we found the prices high—a cookie costs €3. The only issue is that reservations are not possible, so finding a place is a matter of luck. This concept leaves something to be desired. Otherwise, the campsite is excellent.

Very welcoming campsite—cheap, spacious, well equipped, with wooden tables and benches. However, reservations are not possible: you must come after the morning departures and take an available pitch, if there is one! Then register when reception opens around 4 p.m. The pitches are highly sought after. Grocery shop right next door.

Very nice if you do not want to drive away during the day for an excursion. We booked 2 nights and took a day trip in the motorhome. We even left our power cable and furniture at the pitch. When we returned in the afternoon, there was a tent on our pitch. Nobody was there, not even at reception. We did not get our money back.

Small, well-equipped campsite in a village that looks like something from a fairy tale. Showers and toilets are clean, dated but functional. Comfortable grass pitches, and if you are lucky, wooden tables too. The village is a 10-minute walk via a path behind the campsite. If you arrive late, the barrier is open; pay in the morning. There is also a mini-market that sells croissants in the morning. Highly recommended.
