Beautiful place for a high price. We had a ticket until midnight and were considering possibly staying overnight. Only late, at the edge of the site, did we see the information that overnight stays were not allowed. Many motorhomes had already left, so we also drove to Lidl.
Nice parking area for motorhomes. I would not have dared go farther up, given the narrow road and bridges prohibited for vehicles over 3 tons. However, considering the distance, it is a shame to have to pay £3 when, unless I am mistaken, the parking closer to the hike is free.
Very disappointing, because although this beautiful paid motorhome parking area is available, it is really very far from the waterfalls compared with the regular parking area, which is 25 minutes away. From here it takes more than 1 hour 15 minutes, so 2 hours 30 minutes there and back. That was too much for our children; we had not planned the day for that, so we turned around and drove for nothing. Small consolation: the beautiful Scottish cows along the way!

The parking area is no longer free. One hour costs £1 and six hours cost £3. The upper parking area is still free, but somewhat difficult to reach via a single-track road and it fills up quickly. Unfortunately, the hiking trail is not recommended. When we walked it, it was completely flooded. It is better to take the road.
Good place to start the hike. Sleeping prohibited. Payment machine sealed. We recommend not continuing by motorhome to the higher parking area because the road is narrow and the parking area is small.
I arrived at 6 a.m. to go walking and saw that a ranger had issued tickets to the two vans that ignored the NO OVERNIGHT signs. Good.
Brand-new parking area, ideal for vehicles of all sizes. Mandatory for vehicles over 3 tons. Others can continue along the road toward a higher parking area in the valley. Toilets in the parking area. The path to the waterfalls starts here: 4.4 km to Steall Falls.
