Quiet spot next to a low-traffic road near Niederried bei Kallnach, close to a farm and popular for hiking around the reservoir with abundant birdlife. Most travellers found it calm and peaceful with plenty of level spots, though there are a few mosquitoes. One 2024 visitor reported a large sign stating camping is forbidden, so check current signage before staying.

Quiet despite the farm next door, with a few mosquitoes. Plenty of level spaces.
Very nice opportunities for hiking by the reservoir. Wonderful birdsong at all times of day. Treat the place with respect! Highly recommended.
