A clean, well-maintained lakeside leisure area with a swimming spot, picnic tables, shelters, fire and barbecue facilities, toilets, and free firewood. Free SUP boards, boats, and water bikes are also available, supported by Preiļi Municipality. Recent information says the area has only a small, uneven car park and is not well suited to campers. Local people may arrive for evening swimming.

Very nicely landscaped swimming and picnic area, really beautifully done. Many opportunities and shelters for relaxing. Unfortunately, this place is absolutely not designed for campers. There is only a small area for cars. It also seemed that staying overnight was not really welcome. Very nice for a day at the lake, but not intended for overnight stays.
Quiet free place. In the evening, locals came to swim. There were hardly any mosquitoes directly by the water.
Great spot with easy access, also suitable for campers. Clean, well-maintained, and nicely arranged area. There's a swimming spot and free firewood available. You can even borrow a SUP board, boat, or water bike completely free of charge – all supported by Preiļi Municipality. In the evening, there were some people swimming, but at night it was quiet and peaceful with no one else around
Excellent place, spend 3 nights here, possibility to emptied toilet, lake water is very clean and can be used as technical water. Site have here electricity connection and boats, water cycles and SUP boards rented out for free.
