This small riverside parking area is quiet and suitable for daytime visits, with swimming possible in the river. Vehicles over 1.90m can use a waterside space, although some access is restricted by 1.90m barriers. The area may be busy in summer and has little shade. Overnight stays are not permitted, and sudden heavy storms can cause the water to rise quickly and trap vehicles.

Hi, this is a great spot during the day, but there is a reason not to stay overnight: during severe summer and autumn storms, known locally as Cévenol episodes, the water rises very quickly and dramatically, trapping vehicles and people inside. Every year, firefighters rescue people caught by a violent flood here. So be careful!
Beautiful spot directly by the water! There is also a place by the water for vehicles over 1.90 m. That was perfect! Quiet, clean, and right by the water!
Lovely place for the day. Swimming in the river is easy and safe and water quite warm. Best to wear water shoes. It was very hot with little shade. Take an umbrella. It was also very busy, as would be expected in July. No overnight stays
Back on holiday in the area, we repeated the experience following the latest reviews. Well, it seems we are unlucky! The police came by at 3:00 a.m. and asked us, along with four other vans, to leave before daybreak.
We came here last year as well. At the beginning and end of each season, it is a quiet place by the water. A few young people stay until 10:00 p.m., then it is a peaceful night.
