Calm tree-shaded site, loud church bell

A walk to Otzberg Fortress reveals a fascinating panoramic view, but unfortunately the fortress is still closed due to construction work. The toilet above the parking spaces was unfortunately closed.✦Translating

Two spaces up to 7 m. Safe neighborhood and clean place, with a small new playground nearby. In summer, a train runs around the site. The fortress is still closed. The church tower rings at every hour, including at night.✦Translating

Access is possible despite the construction work—follow the “U”! Quiet and clean parking area. The toilet was locked. Beautiful surroundings and good for walking with a dog. Restaurants within walking distance. The site is gravelled and level, with supply and disposal facilities and electricity. Children's playground opposite. Aircraft from Frankfurt Airport can occasionally be heard, but they are not really disturbing. Attention: a pottery market takes place there on 04/05/25, so it cannot be used from 03/05.✦Translating

I spent two lovely and peaceful nights at the site. There is a toilet for women and men up a flight of stairs, and it is wheelchair-accessible. The toilets are clean, and should be left that way. Waste disposal and fresh-water facilities are also available and clean. My thanks go to the municipality for providing such a site free of charge.✦Translating

Beautiful and peaceful place. Easy to empty both grey and black water, and easy to fill up with fresh water. 10 cents for 10 litres and 1 euro for 100 litres. Space for two motorhomes, maximum 7 m. We did not stay overnight this time, but if we are nearby again, we will definitely return and spend a night here. Truly beautiful view.✦Translating

Peaceful, flat spots. Electric and water are paid with Euro coins. Good prices. Parking is free. Maximum stay 72 hours. Toilets up the stairs, are locked and closed though, I assume because it is winter. Grey and toilet water disposal is free. Playground nearby for kids looks nice. No shops, no restaurants, there is nothing here. Cell phone reception good for internet hotspot.

Beautiful, peaceful place with well-functioning basic facilities. There are few or no amenities in the village, but there is a nice homestay that looks like a museum, including an old blacksmith's workshop, where you can get a guided tour from very kind people. One of the residents has an animal that constantly makes a loud sound, which was a little tiring.✦Translating

The site itself is okay; one space was occupied by a car on arrival. Unfortunately, there are no shopping facilities nearby, and no restaurants either—those that exist have been closed for some time or only open from Friday.
