Next to the kiosk are also a few white marked parking spaces. We asked at the kiosk about them and he said it's free but you can only stay for 2 hours max. We left a note specyfing the time we arrived at. It was just enough time to grab something to eat and walk around the city center. We were lucky to find an empty spot there.
