Harbour parking, lively in summer

Good, level site. Beautiful, clean, spacious sanitary facilities with a common room. But beware: when too many sailing boats are present, the harbourmaster refuses campers access to the sanitary facilities.

We found the place perfect for one night. Initial problems with the parking machine were resolved very pleasantly with the friendly harbourmaster.

I do not recommend it for campervans. We bought a 24-hour ticket, but after 20 minutes someone from the marina staff appeared and ordered us to leave the parking area. Our vehicle is registered as a passenger car, and this is a car park for motorhomes. Explaining that we wanted to visit the national park and stay in the vehicle overnight did not help. The man was adamant, so we left.

Here, vehicles are parked tightly together according to the harbourmaster’s instructions. Where eight spaces are marked, eleven or more vehicles are parked side by side. According to the harbourmaster, the markings are old and should be ignored. You are parked so tightly that you can barely open the door. It is no longer pleasant here. Only greed for profit matters now.

Simply a paved parking lot, without any services for motorhomes. Charging €24 per day for this is outrageous.

Parking in the first row at the harbour costs €24 per 24 hours. No electricity, no water or waste disposal. Past the harbourmaster’s office there are toilets, and if you ask nicely, you may use the sailors’ showers. €2 for three minutes. It is a lovely walk to the Königsstuhl or up into town, and there are plenty of nice places to eat fish at the harbour.

A really beautiful place for one night. No water or waste disposal. You can reach the chalk cliffs by boat or bicycle. Even large motorhomes can park here without problems.

No facilities, except for a very clean public toilet (€1) 50 metres away. From here, you can take beautiful boat trips along the chalk cliffs, to Königsstuhl, or around Rügen. The camper site is on a promenade with many restaurants and shops. Cost: €24 per day. You can also pay via the Parkster parking app.

At €24 per 24 hours without services, it is not the cheapest, but it is very beautifully located. The operator has made a great effort, providing beach chairs, rubbish bins, and seats with tables directly in front. Very busy during the day, but quiet at night. There are plenty of restaurants and snack bars nearby. A bus to the town and surrounding area leaves about 150 metres away.

Very suitable for visiting the town. Fair prices and enough space. We were also pleased about the ban on passenger cars.

We stayed here one night with our Marco Polo, from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m. Clean toilets (€1), and the parking fee (€13.50) could easily be paid via the Parkster app. It was perfect for us.

We liked it here very much. There is no electricity or water and waste disposal, but it was perfect for one night. Beautiful location directly at the harbour, and the centre is not far away across the suspension bridge. The Kutterfisch restaurant is very good. Excellent bus connection to Königsstuhl, and the coastal walk is beautiful!

Unfortunately, the harbourmaster could not be reached. The parking area and view were perfect for us. Very clean public toilets costing €1 were nearby. Parking via the app was very straightforward and was charged accurately by the minute. A bakery is easy and quick to reach on foot, and the surroundings invite you to take a long walk before breakfast.

Today, 2 January 2026, the harbourmaster’s office is closed, the toilets are out of order, and the showers cannot be used. A lot of noise all night. On the positive side, our large motorhome fits here without problems. But the service is abysmal.

It is only a parking lot! No services whatsoever! It is incomprehensible why it is rated so highly. Anyone who can stay self-sufficiently can park here centrally and beautifully.

I stayed here for several days and walked the coastal trail to Königsstuhl from here. There is a good bus connection for the return journey. The harbour atmosphere is pleasant and there is a lovely café on the promenade. However, I do not understand why this site has a red rating, because at least currently there are no services whatsoever.

Excellent for a motorhome parking area! Anyone who wants to be in the middle of everything is in the right place here. The beach chairs, benches, and tables are great. It is tight, but I gladly accept that for this location. Two stars deducted for the lack of grey-water disposal and fresh-water supply. Unfortunately, unlike in Scandinavia, this is not a matter of course in Germany. Otherwise, excellent!

Very nice place, which we only used for a stroll around town. There are only a few spaces; please do not park in the bus parking areas. The spaces look very generous because of their white boundary lines, but you should not use those lines as a guide. The yacht harbour staff kindly pointed this out to us. It goes without saying—you are not at a campsite. The beach chairs and seating groups set up in front of the parking spaces for free use are wonderful.

Everything as described. We were here 30 years ago, and hardly anything has changed. The Wi-Fi code is available only from the harbourmaster, who is currently on site only from 8:00 to 10:00. His office is in the container next to the coaches. It is a shame; I would have liked to use Wi-Fi for 24 hours for the parking fee. Free beach chairs are provided in front of the motorhomes for relaxing. There is always something to see—we like it.

Very clean harbour site, great view, and everything within walking distance. Restaurant, boat trips, and small shops. Only a limited number of spaces, but they are sufficient for vehicles up to 9 metres.

Only eight or nine spaces, but the best location directly on the quay wall. With the harbourmaster’s permission, you may also use the skippers’ sanitary facilities. One shower costs €2. Electricity is available, and rubbish can also be disposed of. No water or waste disposal seen. Parking tickets can be bought in half-hour increments, meaning 24 hours costs €24. Not particularly cheap, but fair for the location.
