Valley parking, light traffic

The ideal place to spend a peaceful night in the mountains with cows and sheep. Level ground. The only thing missing was a rubbish bin for campers who do not know how to pick up their waste.

Very nice free parking area on the way to Geiranger. Great view and the road is also very quiet at night. The cows leave you alone if you do not park on the grass :) No services, no rubbish bin.

This place was exceptional, probably my favorite during my stay. Large parking area in absolute peace, with room for around ten vans. The view is magnificent.

Really nice spot with a good view and plenty of room but absolutely no facilities. Do be aware that the cows may decide to lick your van for salt etc. This might be less than amusing in the middle of the night when a large number are enthusiastically pushing it. Not good for paintwork apparently. Parking away from their meadow and not on the grass might help?

We stayed here for one night. The parking area is directly beside the main road, but it was a very quiet night. I think the place is large enough for around six to eight campers. The view is very beautiful.

Beautiful, peaceful place in a paradise of sheep, with plenty of space and no disturbance. Perfect view. Just a little cold—we had 4°C at night.

Beautiful place, very easy access. Close to the road, so you can hear the cars slightly, but not many pass. Magnificent view; we spent one night there and woke up to a snowy landscape.

The place is still available. The view is very beautiful. There is enough space for motorhomes. Naturally, you can hear passing vehicles because the place is directly beside the road. But it is excellent for spending the night.

Easy to access, calm in the night, 4G. Cows may visit you :) Nice view into the gorge and to the little holiday huts. Also little hikes are possible.
