Staadmattstrasse, 5712, Beinwil am See
Been here?
Lakeside RV parking area on Lake Hallwil, right at the lido car park with grass/lawn pitches facing the water. 4 spaces, pay via app only (weekdays 8/20 CHF, weekends 12/30 CHF, 24h limit). Quiet at night even when busy by day; can get muddy and slippery, occasionally soft, in wet weather. Public toilets available at the adjacent pool. No bins for household rubbish, no dump station.

We stayed overnight and were alone during the week. Beautiful, peaceful place, and paying by app was easy. Many thanks to the municipality for this wonderful spot at the foot of the parking area, right by the lake.
The motorhome spaces have been moved to the lakeside of the parking area. With lengthwise parking, there are now more than four spaces, depending on vehicle size. Payment is now only possible via the app.
Provided you can find a free space, it is superb! Right on the grass, with views of the lake and nature. Slightly sloping.
Nice spot with some lake views. I was in the second spot from the front, which was reasonably level. The two farther back were also free, but looked very uneven. In my opinion, the fee is too high and apparently has just increased from 8 or 12 to 20 or 30! During the day it is noisy when the farmer mows his field or the boys play football and the ball constantly hits the fence. Since I work in the van, that eventually annoyed me. On the plus side, the lake is just around the corner with a wonderful place to get in. The deduction is mainly because of the price; for that money I could stay at a campsite with all the amenities.
A very quiet night, with no lighting. Quite expensive for no services.
We had a very quiet night just 20 m from the lake. This alternative parking area is assigned by the authorities when the spaces on the meadow are too wet and boggy. New 2024 parking fees: Monday–Friday CHF 20/night; Saturday–Sunday CHF 30/night.
Unfortunately, the price has increased from CHF 8 or 12 on weekends to CHF 20 or 30. What a shame.
The place is beautiful and the price is fair without services. However, we got stuck in the mud after rain when trying to park on this slightly sloping ground. Be careful. If it is dry, I don't think there will be a problem.
Simple parking area, no services, but a reasonable price for the location. Quiet. A superb lake.
Two of the four spaces have good ground. The other two require compromises because they are uneven. The price is fair, but we would appreciate a way to dispose of household rubbish.
Everything as described, within walking distance of the lake, with an outdoor pool and football field nearby. Quiet at night. Payment via the EasyPark app is possible.
Very busy on Sunday, but only four campers stayed overnight and it was very quiet. The parking area is close to the lake. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe, and I think CHF 8 or CHF 12 on weekends for 24 hours is fair. No toilets, hence one star less.
Simply magnificent for an overnight stay for only eight francs. A little sloped, but the spot is next to the lake. The beach toilets are accessible. No services.
