Been here?
A large Irish Rail public car park, useful for visiting Limerick or travelling by train. It costs €6.50 for 24 hours, payable by QR code or at the station machine, and parking enforcement includes wheel clamps. The site is bright, camera-monitored and generally quiet, with station toilets available nearby during the day. It is about 10 to 15 minutes on foot from the city centre.

Very well-located parking for exploring the city. Attention: it costs €6.50, payable in four different ways. Paying by scanning the QR code displayed on the signs in the parking area is easy. Those who do not pay or exceed the time limit will have a wheel clamp fitted, making it impossible to leave without paying a fine.
Excellent safe parking area for touring the city, with an easy walk to the castle.
Very good place for exploring Limerick. At the very back on the right, where three motorhomes were already parked, it is a good spot. We did not hear anything from the railway. Payment is made at the ticket machine; select parking, otherwise your wheel will be clamped. €13 for two days.
Lovely quite, safe parking, hard to use the q parking app, alovely Irish Rail man took me into the station to pay. €6.50 for 24 hours, close to shops, restaurants & pubs. Best park at the very back as it gets very busy in the mornings
We spent a quiet and pleasant night here. The parking lot fills up in the morning, but there are still some spaces available at the back during the day. We paid the €6.50 fee via the QR code without having to download an app. About 10 minutes’ walk to the city center with nice pubs and shops.
Parked up at the very back of the car park which seemed set up for motorhomes and campervans. Paid 6.50 euros for a day's parking pass. Scanned the QR Code to pay, rather than download the App. Public toilets available within the station close by. Very quiet night. Would stay again. Fabulous meal in The George Hotel - lovely atmosphere.
Peaceful night. Had trouble paying initially because the App would not recognise the location, but you can pay at a machine in the station. Found a great pub in the city centre, 15 minutes walk away - Flannery's. Would stay again.
Great spot to stay in Limerick city for a night, we were down for a rugby match, very quiet, felt secure and well lit, you scan the QR code to pay very simple €6.50 for 24hrs.
Close to the center; I never felt unsafe at any time.
Very large parking area. There were no campers at all on Monday, September 22, 2025. €6.50 for 24 hours. In the morning you are surrounded by cars, but the parking spaces are spacious. Very quiet at night. You can easily walk into Limerick. It is a station parking lot—not a beautiful place, but fine for one night.
Large parking lot in Limerick, €6.50 for 24 hours. Quiet and monitored, very useful in this city where parking is difficult, but not especially comfortable. The station toilets are free, though closed at night. We arrived in the evening when there was plenty of space, but by morning the parking lot was almost full.
The parking fee is now €6.50 rather than €4.50, both at the station and through the app, as confirmed at the ticket counter. We stayed because we did not want to lose time, but it was a major disappointment. Parking in this city seems difficult.
Unfortunately, there are no longer any parking spaces for motorhomes. The staff politely asked us to leave immediately. However, parking is possible on the road directly in front.
Great place to stay to see the city of Limerick , although to be honest apart from a few nice historic sites it was disappointing, grubby, run down looking , very unimpressed. €4 50 for the day if you pay inside the train station which has toilets etc. The big plus is opposite the set down area there are 4 water taps on the wall.
