Castle Park, Y34 VP08, Grange
Been here?
A wooded campervan site within walking distance of the village and a safe beach, with an on-site public bar. Pitches are marked, with optional EHU, grey and black waste disposal, fresh water and bins. There are no toilets or showers. Prices are 20 euros a night or 25 with electric, and the site can become busy with families and children.

We wanted to relax here for two days during our trip, but unfortunately that was not possible. Several families with children arrived and the site became one huge playground. Since I like children very much, that was okay too. Quite expensive for what is offered.Translating
the comment below saying the site looked unkempt was from a time that the site was closed! This is a lovely quiet site. No toilets or showers which is fine as we have our own on board. Pitches are well marked with the option of EHU. Grey&black waste and fresh water available. We also love the quirky little bar on site at the w/ends and the woodland walk that takes you to the heart of the village
Very complicated to find, GPS coordinates incorrect. The parking area surrounded by trees is not very pleasant. We preferred to go to the site 1.5 km farther on, which is beautiful.Translating
Call at the red door this is definitely open and well worth a couple of nights. If you are looking for total peace and quiet this is the place. Town right beside you a 5 minute walk. Grey and black water disposal. Two water taps and bins. 20 euros a night or 25 with electric. We will definitely be back. Thank you Ellie. Eamon and Michelle
This place is still open but looks like the operator has lost interest in it , we left and went to Norman View , all facilities are working through
Not entirely sure if this site is still operating. Can't get through on the phone and no answer at the door. Sites themselves look unkempt. Went to The Norman View down the road instead.
Stayed here for 3 nights in early September sheltering from a passing storm. This place is a gem … peaceful, quiet and close to nature with easy walks to beach and village. We would definitely return if in the area. What a lovely site and agree with all recent previous comments. Still €20 plus €5 EHU PS - no sign of any dog faeces!
The place is very quiet, the reception very pleasant, but I find it very expensive for what the site offers. It was full of dog excrement and does not even have showers: €25 for one night for two people.Translating
Spent 3 nights here, had a great time. lovely site within walking distance of the beach and the town. lovely bar on site, the owner is very friendly and helpful. The woods walk is lovely. Will be back again
Amazing hidden gem, hidden away, but within a 10 min walk to the village of Fethard. Would come back in a heartbeat. Our satnav took us around in circles, so use the eircode Y34 N732
Had a lovely 2 nights here. Short walk to the historical village with bars and shops. Short walk/cycle to an almost deserted sandy beach for a lovely swim. Suited us, surrounded by trees and nature. Didn’t get to the on site bar. Bring cash.
Spent a lovely night here surrounded by trees. The beach and village are a short walk away. The lady owner is very friendly and helpful. The bar on site was open in the evening. Just to note, the card reader didn't work so bring cash. Will definitely be back.
