Mountain parking, narrow winding access

We had a great time here! Campiglia is very cute and has a small shop, drinking water and a few restaurants. The descent to the beach is a challenge; you should take enough food for the return journey. There were wild boars at the pitch at night. As long as you do not leave rubbish or food outside, there is no problem. They seem used to people.✦Translating

The access road to the place is very winding and narrow. Fortunately, we did not encounter many people; otherwise... The car park has no view and is beside a road, but it may be suitable for one night. It is an ideal starting point for hikes. Do not let some of the comments put you off. We got here easily with our motorhome, 7.4 metres long and 3.1 metres high. When meeting oncoming traffic, you have to use the passing places, which admittedly are rare. Now we are waiting for the wild boars.✦Translating

Very good place! The water tap is 5 minutes away in the village. Very quiet. Wild boars also came to visit us, so be careful if you are travelling with a dog. The road up has several bends and narrow sections, but a larger public-transport bus also drives up it. More activity and additional visitors in the morning because of the hiking trail.✦Translating

I spent one peaceful night here. Starting point for the staircase to Monesteroli and Portovenere. We arrived at night and were alone, but by the afternoon the car park was full of cars. It was supposed to be a pleasant evening, but the drive was a nightmare, with us turning around at the first possible bend. Very narrow access road. We drove on Sunday evening, with quite a lot of traffic. Passing other vehicles was a nightmare. We are 2.7 m high and hit trees and bushes.✦Translating

We spent the night from October 1 to 2. The place is quiet but quite large, so there is a risk of several vehicles, sometimes noisier. The area is not very well maintained and there are no bins nearby. Too bad.✦Translating

We slept here for two nights to visit the Cinque Terre. Quiet, flat spot with plenty of space. Access is via a very winding road with difficult passing points. We tried to walk to Riomaggiore, but the road is too dangerous, so we hitchhiked. The easiest option is to take a bus to La Spezia and then the train. Note that bus tickets must be bought in advance, as they are not sold on board. The train ticket between La Spezia and the Cinque Terre villages is included in the Cinque Terre Card.✦Translating

Flat parking area at the entrance to Campiglia. There were three vans. Beware, the road to the village is very, very narrow. Not recommended for large vehicles. Magnificent view from the village and a starting point for hikes.

The road is very winding and narrow, making it difficult to pass another vehicle; we had some frightening moments. We travel in a 7 m van, and the place was worth it. We stayed for three nights without any problems. The nearby little village is very pleasant and has a magnificent view. You can also reach the various Cinque Terre villages by public transport or on foot.

Nice place. I recommend breakfast at the nearby shop. Watch out for wild boars at night :)

We slept here for three nights in a row and slept very well. Cute village, restaurant and bar, water fountain. Quiet parking area without problems. Fireflies and stars were incredibly beautiful.

I confirm that this is a very good location for visiting the Cinque Terre. Shuttle to the village 200 m away, €2.50 per trip to the central station, and then a €27 pass for the Cinque Terre. Quiet village.

Good spot for one or several nights. A great hike starts here. Quiet and pleasant place with a spring nearby.

Perfect for spending the night and visiting the surrounding area. No services or phone signal. Water fountain in the village, as well as excellent bars. Fills up quickly, especially at weekends, as it is a hiking starting point. ⚠️ However, we did see a rat and processionary caterpillars.

A bit of a scary drive up but worth it. Quiet and enough space (although in April). Nice location with a small village, 5 minutes walking. Enjoy!
