4 Rue de Dessous, 61250, Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei
Been here?
A quiet municipal parking area by the river, with flat spaces, trees for shade, public toilets and a very pretty village nearby. A height barrier now limits access to 2m. Motorhomes should use the special campervan parking area 200m farther along the road. The original listing mentions water and garbage bins.

Height barrier; there is a special campervan parking area 200 m up the road.Translating
By the river, with the possibility of parking under the trees in the shade; flat, clean, public toilets. Indeed, limited to 2 m. A very pretty village to stroll around for an hour!Translating
Indeed, during our visit on 22 April 2026, a 2 m height barrier had been installed. Continue straight ahead; there is a parking area by the river on your left.Translating
Great spot. We only spent the afternoon here and took the opportunity to visit the village. Very clean.Translating
Having also stayed at the other area, this one is much quieter and the ground is better suited in case of heavy rain. In that case, we are offered the possibility of staying here.Translating
Parking in the village. The barrier was not in place. There is a sign saying €5 per night. The other parking area is a little farther away. Thanks.Translating
A place to feel comfortable. Thank you very much.Translating
Very nice place where I had already been before. But there is a 2 m barrier.Translating
Beautiful, quiet place. There were four motorhomes here in October. No one came to collect payment. The height restriction has been lifted.Translating
No more barrier, €5 per night, no services.Translating
It is no longer for motorhomes. Limited to 2 m in height.Translating
For a quick stop, it is very good; otherwise, go somewhere else. Here, everyone is packed together—you can hear the neighbors’ conversations. No thanks.Translating
Place by the water, very pleasant, in the heart of a magnificent village. Clean toilets, open all night. Well done to the municipality for providing this parking area.Translating
Area managed by the municipality, like the one 450 m farther down on the St Pierre des Nids road, at the same price of €5. Limited to a height of 2 m so as not to disadvantage the nearby car parking in the heart of the site, but the municipality can change the height if it decides the other area should be closed. Well done to the municipality for its thoughtful management for campervan travelers.Translating
Barrier; not suitable for large motorhomes.Translating
We have a T3, which was perfect for us. Quiet, peaceful place to sleep! Toilets and a bin not very far away. We approve! And the village is absolutely magnificent. It is worth spending the night there!Translating
Wonderful, quiet place. There is a 2 m barrier, as described in some comments, but it is open.Translating
The barrier was open and the parking area is intended for motorhomes. Someone came by in the evening to collect the €5. Very pleasant place by the Sarthe and a charming village.Translating
2 m barrier. Impossible to enter by motorhome.Translating
A 2.00 m barrier prevents entry to this parking area. Another grassy parking area by the river, 200 m farther on, is very quiet and costs €5 per night. Be careful, the ground is wet.Translating
