Been here?
This large paid motorhome area on the outskirts of town provides level pitches with electricity, water and supply and disposal facilities. It is quiet and offers a beautiful view, while the nearby 5G mast is not considered disruptive by some visitors. The traditional registration and payment process uses paper, cash and a mailbox; the toilets are locked except during events. The stated price is 7 €.

This pitch is closed due to an event from approximately 14 July to 23 July 2026!
Excellent pitch. Many thanks to the municipality. Well-maintained, quiet pitch for very little money. Anyone still complaining here should stay at home. One of the few municipalities nowadays where campers are still welcome.
First of all, thank you to the municipality! It is great that places like this still exist. But one request: install a large rubbish bin and turn on the existing streetlights. It is pitch dark. We would also gladly pay another €3, which would be justified. Otherwise everything is nice.
Very quiet, spacious, and level. The mast is not a problem. There are toilets, but they are locked. Likeable old-fashioned registration and payment system using paper, cash, and a mailbox.
Wonderful view and truly great location. €7 is completely reasonable!
We had a short-term electricity problem. One quick phone call, and help arrived within 10 minutes. Extremely nice and helpful. It could not be better. A simple, excellent pitch with electricity and water. Do not forget €1 coins. The pitch has a great view. Totally quiet. The 5G mast is absolutely not bothersome. The radiation even less so. We will come again.
We had been here before. Today we drove on. I do not want to spend the night directly under a 5G transmitter mast. Such a shame! It used to be a great place. Unfortunately, not for me anymore. For €7 I would also have expected the existing toilet facilities to be open.
Very nice. Quiet location, neat and clean.
A nice place. The only thing that bothered us was the transmitter mast, which starts humming in the wind. For €7 per 24 hours, it would also be nice to have waste disposal.
Very quiet. Great view. The Telekom mobile mast provides a 22 ms ping and 150 Mbps. Good for gaming... It does not bother me. The toilets are only open during events.
Very nice pitch on the outskirts of Zell. Unfortunately, there is now a mobile phone mast at the site. What a shame.
The festival tent is still there! The site is closed from 10 May to 20 May 2024. Very quiet, beautiful view, and not far away there is an excellent unmanned shop, Waldsteinlädla, selling everything from fresh produce to frozen goods.
ATTENTION! From 10 May to 12 May 2024 the site is closed. As always, excellent. Slept very peacefully. Superb view. Always worth a stopover when travelling south.
We stayed here for one night. A very quiet and safe area.
We spent two nights here and thank the municipality for this beautiful pitch. It is spacious, surrounded by greenery, and was very quiet. Truly recommended! If you need electricity, remember €1 coins.
Nice place. But from now on there is a €7 daily fee. Registration is with a form available at the toilet. Payment in cash, using an envelope in the mailbox at the toilet.
Very beautiful, quiet place. Great paths for walking. The transmitter mast standing right on the site was not (yet) operational, which would have bothered us. The toilet was closed.
Nice place with what we need. Many thanks to the city for this fine place. A small minus. There are some iron spikes sticking out of the ground. See photo with red circle. Could destroy the tires. Take care when you park
Good place. The toilets are apparently permanently locked. According to the municipality's website, the pitch costs €7, but I have no idea how or where to pay… Annoying, although it is not the pitch's fault that many people from nearby apparently stay here permanently. Also annoying when a cuddly camper wakes you at 11 p.m. and then starts up the engine again at 6 a.m.… People…….
The pitch is very nice and there would be enough space if two large motorhomes were not parked across it again :-( What a shame, but this is becoming increasingly common.
Excellent pitch overlooking the town. Access is officially limited to 3.5 tonnes, but larger vehicles also fit easily and the approach is suitable even for a lorry. Electricity and water are available for a fee. Grey water can be disposed of, but not chemical toilets.
A little out of the way, but a perfect place.
