Mid-October. We had the whole campsite to ourselves. We called reception and got in! The facilities are old-fashioned but very clean, and the showers are extremely hot. Very quiet at night. Ten minutes from the Pic du Midi cable car. Perfect stopover!✦Translating

Very quiet campsite halfway up the Col du Tourmalet. With 200 static caravans, only a few of which were occupied during my three-day visit. About five camper pitches available. Sanitary facilities outdated. Beautiful nature and located by a small lake. I paid €54 for three days including electricity. Note: no 5G and no Wi-Fi, so you can peacefully enjoy the surroundings. Very quiet, friendly welcome, €22 per night with electricity, €6 for waste disposal without an overnight stay. Washing machine and tumble dryer. But it is indeed a little vintage. You have to order baguettes from the inn the day before to have them from 7:30 a.m. the next day.✦Translating

Arriving here feels like entering another era... Bungalows from another age, a campsite that seems deserted, surrounded by ageing buildings. But excellent welcome and very reasonable price (€20 for three adults without electricity). Perfect for a peaceful stopover and doing laundry.✦Translating

A few pitches among ageing bungalows. Beside an EDF dam, with a lake for fishermen. Well-treed and shaded pitches. Very old sanitary facilities, showers not very clean. €23 for four people, a van and electricity, plus grey-water disposal for €6!✦Translating

Sanitary facilities a little old. There is indeed a youth leisure centre, but from our pitch we could not hear any noise. Lots of free-grazing cows in the surrounding area. Access to the starting points of many hikes.✦Translating

Arriving after 5 p.m., everything is closed and nobody is in sight. A zombie atmosphere hangs over the place. You have to open the barrier and set up; the caretaker will come to see you the next morning. Very few spaces between the bungalows. But most are unoccupied in the middle of the season, so it is wonderfully quiet opposite a small lake and near a lodge that serves meals. No zombies, but there is a welcome.✦Translating

For our weekend we parked our motorhome at this campsite. Perfect pitch by the lake, quiet, with hiking opportunities nearby. The campsite manager is very friendly. We highly recommend it.✦Translating
