Route des Carrières, 83700, Saint-Raphaël
Been here?
This basic roadside parking area is close to the beach and suitable for a night or two. There are no services at the parking area, while the beach has toilets, showers and drinking water. The road and railway can be noisy, although trains do not run between 23h and 7h; access should be made via Valrose Avenue because of a narrow tunnel and a 2.60m height warning.

Nice spot for one or two nights. No services, but there is drinking water at the beach. Fortunately, there are no trains from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.Translating
Quite okay for one night, relatively quiet. The tap at the beautiful beach is not suitable for filling containers.Translating
Roadside parking on a dirt surface, somewhat neglected. Quite peaceful at night. Beach nearby. Rubbish bins available. Attention: clearance is 2.60 m; use the side road to get there.Translating
Natural roadside parking next to a busy road, good for a one-night stopover. Waking up is rather noisy, with the first nearby trains passing as early as 7 a.m.! Nothing of particular interest here, so we are leaving in the morning.Translating
Extremely noisy! Constant traffic! The toilets and shower are quite far away, and shampoo is forbidden! You need a strong stomach for the toilets! One night is enough.Translating
Great spot. The old sign in the photo says 3 m, and indeed, with a 2.80 m Hymer plus roof racks, it fits. The successive signs saying 2.80 m and now 2.60 m are, I think, intended to discourage people. Busy road during the day but quiet at night (no trains between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.).Translating
