Free gravel parking, turbine noise

Free parking in a large gravel parking area. We drove the motorhome all the way out to the viewpoint—and what a fantastic view! Arctic View 71N 24E; the restaurant here is open in summer. Buffet with hot dishes, coffee, drinks, and waffles or dessert. I recommend eating here.

You are no longer allowed to park directly in front of the restaurant, as shown in the photo. The owner was very unfriendly when I asked whether I could spend the night here if I ate at his restaurant. Apparently, I had not understood his parking markings. He said only people with walking disabilities may park there. You can park farther up. I did not get the impression that motorhomes are still welcome. I left.

What a fantastic place! Måsøy has created a truly special destination. Beautiful surroundings, warm hospitality from the staff and excellent food made our visit memorable. We enjoyed the traditional husmanskost buffet, with a great selection of delicious, authentic dishes. A wonderful combination of stunning scenery, friendly people, and great food. Highly recommended!

The view is definitely worth it. The restaurant operator was cleaning and preparing for the new season; he invited us inside, and we had a fun conversation. The menu for the new season looks interesting. I would go there again and certainly order something from the menu.

The site can be visited by a camper or any vehicle without weight restrictions; the road is steep and covered with loose stones. The descent is worse. As a reward at the top, there are several large wind turbines, which, apart from the noise, spoil all the photos.

Absolutely stunning views!!! Cafe is only open on the weekends in September/October, so it’s very quiet now. Beautiful sunset and a very peaceful night with the full moon.

Perfect place. A little windy, but with an incredible view. And the little café with a view right next door is simply excellent.

We stayed on the plateau. The view is magnificent. Despite several campers, it was a very quiet place. In the morning, the motorhome occasionally shook because of the rising wind; that is simply part of this location. Previous campers unfortunately left human waste right at the edge of the site. Please stop doing this. Bring a toilet or stay away.

We chose the site at the top of the hill because the listed site apparently belongs to the café. You can enjoy a magnificent view here. Note for rooftop-tent campers: it can be very windy.

Lovely place for an overnight stay. Beautiful view, but nowhere near comparable to the cliffs of the North Cape. On the other hand, much less busy. But it was no longer completely deserted at the beginning of June, so arrive early enough!

Beautiful place. Very suitable for a tent. There are plenty of flat areas between the camper parking area and the restaurant. We were lucky: it was almost windless, so we had little or no trouble from the wind turbines. And there was a beautiful midnight sun and two foxes.

It is worth driving out here for the breathtaking view. Whether you want to sleep here is up to you. The Arctic View Café is open Tuesday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Very nice spot with a magnificent view. We slept in the small parking area opposite the bar-restaurant, which was open yesterday evening. We were alone. We did not hear the wind turbines at all. The location is better suited to a van or camper van.

Access to Arctic View and the wind turbines is possible. Steep asphalt road. Excellent view. The turbines can be heard when standing directly beneath them, but we did not find it loud or disturbing. No other facilities on site.
