Spiaggia Pane e Pomodoro, 70126, Bari
Been here?
Large, level paid parking area costing €1 per calendar day; an overnight stay can therefore cost €2. A free shuttle bus to Bari serves up to 4 people with the entry ticket, and public toilets and showers are 200 meters away. The lot is generally quiet at night and has barriers and small cameras, but a bicycle was recently stolen during a beach visit. The beach is dirty, and exit payment must be made shortly before leaving.

We spent one peaceful night there and wanted to stay longer, but while we were at the beach someone stole our bicycle, which was mounted on the rear rack. Thanks to the GPS alarm, we managed to recover the bicycle. We reported it to the police and left with unpleasant memories for the rest of our stay in Italy.
We arrived at 3.15pm and there were only a few spaces suitable for our 7.5m van. By 5.30pm the car park started to thin out. So arrival later or earlier in the morning is best. The fee is per day not for 24hrs, so we paid €2. If you are heading to the port, then take the SS16 north to junction 4 to avoid Bari's ZTL (like LEZ). You'll need to allow 40 minutes to get there.
Parking that seems monitored with small cameras. We parked here for a few hours while visiting Bari. Everything went well. €1 for the day is very reasonable!
20/04/26: Basically level. Quiet enough. Safe. Cheap at 1€ a day (an overnight stop equals 2 days). Pick up a ticket on entrance at the barrier and pay when you leave by presenting the ticket to the pay machine. Ticket is returned to you and you put it in the slot at the exit barrier. Car park is very popular but it is large so there is almost always likely to be a place to park.
Very good place; they charge €1 per day! It has cameras and feels quite safe. We stayed three nights and everything was fine. It is far from the center, but there is a bus that enters the parking lot and takes you directly to the center. I did not use it, but I think it is free.
Stayed here a week: Bari was our base to explore several places and towns nearby. This parking lot seemed safe, we had absolutely no problems, locals come and go, you have direct shuttle to Bari center. Super recommend.
Everything was great over Easter weekend: the parking lot, city beach, and Bari, including the Good Friday procession. On Saturday there was a well-behaved event with loud music next to the parking lot, but it ended punctually at midnight with fireworks. On Sunday morning everything was wonderfully tidied up and clean. Exemplary! Thanks to Bari for the parking lot and pricing!
Perfect, up-to-date information. Two days and two nights without any problems. Quiet, at least off-season and outside weekends, very convenient, really inexpensive, and recommended! Good Iliad internet reception. However, the P4N app often censors the description, so note that payment is by calendar day. It is free on Sundays, but there is no bus then. There is a Wi-Fi area and lockers along the beach.
The place is okay. However, I stayed opposite, including overnight. Everything was fine: €1 daily rate, free on Sundays.
Very nice parking lot for taking the bus and visiting the city, €1 including the bus for the day.
This place is really nerve-racking. At weekends, firecrackers go off, strange people walk around, and there is broken glass from smashed windows in the parking lot. The bus is free with the parking ticket, which is very convenient, but this parking is really more of an emergency option than a place for several nights.
Very large, flat parking lot. The barrier was raised when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. There is no shuttle on Sundays, so allow a good 30-minute walk to the old town. The next morning the barrier was closed; simply pay €1 for a lost ticket at the automatic cashier to exit. No services. The park's showers and toilets closed at 7 p.m., despite the sign saying 10 p.m.
We spent a quiet and pleasant night. We paid €1 for parking, and with this ticket, valid for up to four people, we were entitled to take the shuttle into town.
Very convenient parking, €1 per day, near the city center on foot or by bus. Quiet night, felt safe.
Parking without services, inexpensive. Shuttle to the city. Beach, showers, and fountains 200 m away. I recommend it, except on Saturday evening—party all night long.
A really great spot. We spent two days here and felt very safe. There were many other campers too. The sea is very close, with toilets, beach showers, and even a food truck. You pay €1 and can even take the bus into town with it. Highly recommended!
I do not agree with the description. It is a pleasant, quiet parking lot. Within a few minutes you are at the small beach with lockers, a drinking-water tap, sports facilities, toilets, outdoor showers (accessible all day during the first week of September), and a Wi-Fi zone, which we did not try but was indicated. Very popular with locals too! Payment is cash only.
Very large parking lot for only €1 per day, including the shuttle to the city center. We slept overnight and it was quiet. There is a beautiful sandy beach 200 m away with toilets and showers for rinsing off.
Good parking lot for going to the beach, and cheap.
Not only is this car park only €1 for the whole day but the bus to the centre is also included in the price. It's not a very calm or clean place, but for €1 a day? With buses included?? I was so happy.
Very large parking lot and very close to the center, but too noisy for sleeping.
The place is not suitable for very sensitive people, but it has its advantages. Short routes into the city, sandy beach about 800 m away. The noise is acceptable for the location, but it is not quiet. We had no problems and slept well.
When we arrived, an unpleasant smell of urine hung over the parking lot. Rubbish and excrement were unfortunately very obvious. The nearby “beach” is very rocky and unsuitable for swimming. Too expensive even at €1. Very good location for the city center.
The second time we have slept here, and like the first time, no problems and very peaceful. €1 per calendar day, not every 24 hours.
Great parking lot for visiting Bari; it costs €1 per day. There is a pleasant 20–30 minute walk to the center. We felt safe and there were people walking around constantly.
Around 01:00am some group of teenagers was approaching my van, they knocked or kicked it. I could scare them away but they tried to approach again. Didn’t feel secure at this spot.
