5 Rot-Kreuz-Straße, 86899, Landsberg am Lech
Been here?
A free car park in a quiet residential area, close to Landsberg’s old town and suitable for a 7.1-metre camper. It has no water or waste services, and some spaces have time limits. Recent reports say the local authorities consider camping here neither permitted nor desired and are carrying out checks. The car park can also fill with stored campers and trailers, especially during the day.

When we arrived at this parking lot around 9am on a weekday, it was packed. Many campers and trailers seem to be stored here, as it's a free parking lot without time restraints. We lucked out that a car left, so we took the last spot. Other parking lots closer to town charge fees, so this was the best option and an easy walk to the historic center.
Warning! Today we were checked by the local authorities and told that this is a car parking lot, and camping here is neither allowed nor wanted. They said they are checking because camping here has increased recently, and sent us to the Waitzinger Wiese motorhome site. We left again.
Very central and free, within walking distance of the old town. In the evening, players come for training but leave quietly afterward. Great place, almost level and quiet.
Parking five minutes' walk from the center. Perfect for spending the night and visiting the town without moving the vehicle. Very quiet, with many spaces available during the day and night. Some spaces cannot be parked in. No water or waste services.
Great, we were able to spend a quiet night here. Well located for visiting the city by bicycle.
Parking close to the center on foot. You can walk along the riverbanks. Dogs can take a dip. The parking is lively on Saturday evenings. Plenty of restaurants and bars in town.
No services. Comfortable parking. Attention: some sections have time limits. A 10–15 minute walk to the city. Nice.
We stayed here on Thurday night, Ascension day. We walked into town and there was a festival on which was fun. Parkup didn't have any facilities but it was absolutely fine. we left at 7.30am as that is when the locals start requiring spaces.
Free parking near the center. Quiet and convenient, including for overnight stays.
Excellent parking area used by other campers.
A great place for self-sufficient stays. No services. The city is reachable within a few minutes on foot. Thank you to the city of Landsberg!
A few minutes' walk from the center; I recommend this parking area. We used it only during the day, but I do not think there would have been any problem spending the night there.
Plenty spaces in late afternoon, but fills up in the morning. Very quiet night.
A very quiet place to spend the night.
The parking area is really great; we have stayed there several times. It is only a few minutes on foot to the city. Some local residents also park their motorhomes there.
We were here in August; it was not particularly busy. The site is not far from the center, about a 10-minute walk. We felt safe. The only disadvantage is that there are several glass and waste-paper containers nearby. We were woken up in the morning from 7 a.m. The construction site next door was not audible.
Parking without services. Convenient, easily accessible, with many spaces. Almost all spaces are shaded. Many campers present. Also good for campers over 7 meters, which can swing over the flower beds. Quiet at night; the morning bells did not disturb us. Some temporary construction work was slightly annoying but certainly short-lived. Highly recommended.
Super quiet place, close to the center. We slept here; it was very peaceful.
There are no services, but it is well located for a 15-minute stroll into town. Quiet night, felt safe.
