Been here?
A simple, shaded campsite directly on the Neckar, with grassy pitches and mature trees. It is well placed for cycling to Heidelberg or Neckargemünd, with a supermarket about 3 minutes away by bike. Sanitary facilities are older but clean, and a hot shower costs €1; Wi-Fi, bike rental, washing machines, and a dryer are available. Road traffic, trains, and boats are clearly audible in the narrow river valley.

Beautiful place with lawns and old trees, right on the Neckar. Ideal for cycling trips to Heidelberg or Neckargemünd. Since the site is in a narrow river valley, you can also hear the boats and traffic. It did not bother us. The very friendly site manager let us calmly choose a place. Very pleasant! Showers require coins; the facilities are somewhat old but clean.
Simple but very clean and sufficiently shaded. Hot shower with token. Overlooking the quiet Neckar River. No mosquitoes, no bar or restaurant. Ideal for visiting Heidelberg. There is a cycle path into the city, and 3 minutes from the campsite you will also find a supermarket. By bicycle, in the other direction, you can reach the delightful town of Neckargemünd.
The site is beautifully located directly on the Neckar, with spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but they are clean. For a hot shower you need tokens, available at reception for €1; a cold shower is free. No bread-roll service and no restaurant on site. We paid €29 for the motorhome, electricity, and two people, which is fair.
Campsite with a lovely view over the river. Facilities a little old. Very good for one night.
At the end of April, lots of spaces were free, with plenty of choice. There was noise from road traffic, trains, and river traffic.
Lovely campsite, right on the river, close to both Heidelberg and Neckargemund by bike paths. We arrived just after 12-noon and reception was closed. We just chose a plot and checked in after 3pm.. Toilets and showers clean. There were only 2 showers though which didn't bother us, it might be a problem in high season. Showers 1E/5 mins, washing machine 5E. Dryer not working. Recommend.
The man was nice and helpful, quiet location beside the river. simple but clean facilities. we stayed one night. recommended again.
Very nice and helpful site manager! He first let us look around in peace and choose a place. We would gladly come back. We spent two days at this beautiful, quiet, well-maintained campsite.
Very nice place with a beautiful view. You can clearly hear the road and the railway on the opposite side of the river. The sanitary facilities are clean and orderly.
The owners were very kind and helpful! We spent one night here in a rooftop tent and had a pitch directly on the Neckar. Toilets and showers are clean. The laundry room is too.
Quiet campsite, although you can hear the road, train, and boats. On the riverbank. Good for one night or for visiting the city.
Everything you need was available. Nice operators. The sanitary facilities were clean. More suitable for small vans.
Very friendly welcome, good shady pitches, grass surface, directly on the Neckar. Heidelberg and Neckargemünd are easily reachable by bicycle. One motorhome per night €25, electricity €4. One car with rooftop tent €14.
Pitch overlooking the Neckar. Check-in was uncomplicated. Sanitary facilities somewhat dated but clean. Some neglected permanent-camper pitches are unattractive to look at. Otherwise everything is fine. A bike trip to Neckargemünd is possible, using a narrow footpath/cycle path beside a busy road.
A simple campsite with everything you need. Nothing to complain about regarding the sanitary facilities; just don't expect anything new. Showers cost extra (€1 tokens for one hour). However, be aware if you cannot tolerate noise: you can hear the nearby road and railway, as well as boats passing from time to time. Overall, a very good campsite; I would come back.
Pitch directly on the Neckar, which is obscured by trees. Relatively noisy because of the roads on both sides of the river and the nearby railway line. You can smell the exhaust fumes on the site. Everything seems somewhat makeshift and dated. Cycling to Heidelberg by e-bike takes 30 minutes, but you ride along a busy road.
Wonderful place by the river. Beautiful between trees and grass. Nice long warm shower.
