Been here?
A large, flat green parking area beside a national road, suitable for lunch breaks or a simple overnight stop. Recent stays were calm, with almost no traffic, and the site has a picnic table, benches, a small chapel, and room for ten vehicles. The surrounding green mountain views are pleasant, though the ground is unpaved and can be affected by wet weather.

A quiet and beautiful meadow parking area. We spent a peaceful night here. The chapel is well worth seeing. It commemorates the fighters of the Yugoslav War.
Calm, simple place. Perfect for a night. Almost no traffic. Nice view of green mountains.
We spent the night here on our way to the Plitvice Lakes. Peaceful night, very little traffic on the nearby road, clean.
Very pleasant place and, by local standards, quite clean. In spring, the mountain herbs smell wonderful here. Despite being right beside the road, there was almost no traffic at night and we felt safe. Locals occasionally stopped, but only to check the chapel.
Good for one night as a backup. Fairly busy road.
Beautiful, quiet place right beside the motorway. We slept like babies.
Very quiet, pleasant location to rest for a night. The skyline is mesmerizing to look at there. Not too far to turn from the main highway. There is a memorial chapel for Croatian officers on the site. One adventure we encountered there was that some animals (looked like dogs) came to the lot while we were sleeping outside of the car, but they fled as soon as we noticed them and got up.
Good place to take a break, even though it is meant to commemorate the bloody and brutal Croatian liberation struggle. There are bins, but unfortunately not everyone can use them and some simply throw their rubbish at the edge of the forest. We deliberately left the scorching motorway to rest in the countryside. It was worth it.
Ideal for one night, as the site is not far from the motorway and directly beside a main road, which is very quiet at night. Ground: unpaved, so beware when wet! The chapel is closed. A small rubbish bin and benches are available.
We stayed here for one night. The night was very quiet and pleasant. In the morning, two cars stopped for a short picnic break. Naturally, they threw their beer cans onto the meadow :( A vehicle from the national park also came by and tidied and cleaned the memorial site. They did not speak to us; it seemed completely normal and acceptable to stay there.
We stayed here for one night. A very pleasantly quiet location; the road in front is barely used.
Very good overnight stop when passing through. Quiet and just after the motorway exit. A small restaurant where you can eat is 500 metres away. This spot is going on our list!
A place slightly set back from the road, depending on how you park. Access to nature, but rubbish has been left abandoned at the site, making it less natural and pleasant.
Quiet stopover. No problems. There is a walk into the woods from the parking. No services.
Perfect for sleeping on the way back from the Plitvice Lakes towards Slovenia. Although close to the road, the night was very quiet. We parked behind the chapel.
