A free parking area near the Scheldt, surrounded by nature and suitable for an overnight stop. The water bus stop is about 100 meters away and provides a convenient connection to Antwerp, with recent fares of €6 each return. There are no services, and the surrounding cobbled roads can be noisy when traffic starts early. The area is usually quiet later in the evening, but it can feel isolated when empty.

The place is superb, but in midsummer we found ourselves completely alone in this large parking area. It is very surprising that there were no other motorhomes, given the quality of the place. We left rather late in the evening for a less isolated location, reluctantly.
Great place to spend the night. We had a quiet night. You are surrounded by nature. Convenient water bus to Antwerp city center!
Fantastic free aire. As others have said park closer to the wooden statue then youre not bothering commuters, caught water bus which was a great experience, there is a cobbled paved road at eirher side which is really noisy on the car tires they start early but no complaints from us…
Free parking (we did not sleep there) for boarding a boat to Antwerp, with a stop one station later (€10 return for 2 seniors)—what more could you ask for! Really convenient for reaching the city without parking worries.
FREE... what's not to like. a quiet area once the water bus had stopped. we had a comfortable night and in the morning caught the water bus to Antwerp for €6 each return. no facilities but would recommend.
Quiet night, ideal for reaching Antwerp via The Waterbus, whose stop is about 100 meters away and takes you along the Scheldt River right into central Antwerp for €6 return. A very pleasant boat trip.
Large free parking area near the Scheldt. Some traffic early in the morning; otherwise a quiet night. No services. Motorway entrance and exit 3 km away. Ideal for a stopover.

Great little place, we parked up near the big wood statue. The road is cobbled so a bit noisy but settles down on an evening. We caught waterbus to Antwerp for €6 each return - marvellous. No services. Felt very safe so would definitely use again.
Great place to visit Antwerp. Catch the dewaterbus for €6 return Kruibeke to Antwerp (Steenplein) about 3 mins walk from the parking area. Be aware that there is a circus in the same car park from 8 June 2024 (advert says until 16 June) so it may be difficult to find a space for these days.
Perfect for visiting Antwerp by water bus for €6 return. However, we could not find the toilets, there are many mosquitoes, and the two roads around the parking area are cobbled and therefore very noisy, with traffic until midnight and from 6 a.m. Recommended for visiting, but not necessarily for sleeping.
Really nice spot, peaceful and quiet. Grass around and great places to walk around.
