Quiet path-side, mosquitoes plentiful

A van spot lies at the edge of a path beneath a tree marked with the letter P. It is very quiet, although insects, especially mosquitoes, are plentiful. No vehicles passed during the evening or night, apart from a horse ride around 10am.
