Called the owner last minute, he answered immediately and was very friendly. We got the place for ourselves. Park in the B&B's backyard overlooking the bay and drop 10£ in the mailbox. The road is nearby but it's quiet at night.

Fantastic little stop over, with amazing views of the sea and Keiss castle. An hour r/t walk along the coastal path for a closer look to see this amazing piece of history. Be sure to slow right down as you get close to the turn off, it’s a quick turn with a slightly steep angle down but quickly evens out. Dropped £10 in the property’s mail slot for 1 night.

Beautiful pitch up, no amenities so ideal for self contained campers. £10 in the honesty box. Ideal to walk along the costal path to the castle which you can see from the site. Perfect & will be coming again!

Very friendly owner, nice spot with seaview and access to the path leading up to the nearby castle. No services at all, but of course you only pay 10GBP.

Superb unobstructed view of the ocean, but if there is no wind the midges will be out in force! Below the road, which considerably reduces the vehicle noise.

Wonderful place. We had a nice phone conversation with the owner and were then simply allowed to drive behind the house. We put £10 in the mailbox. That was it! He also pointed out that we could walk down to the sea. And the sign in the window says welcome, and that we should look out for orcas!

Amazing views, lovely and quite away from the road

Really friendly and very interesting host. Very responsive answering the phone and we had a great chat when I arrived. Good spot with excellent views. 4G mobile signal on EE and Vodafone. £10 for the night. Space for a couple of vans.

Good value for money, even though no facilities. The view is stunning. We had the area to ourselves. Lovely and quiet. Walked out to Keiss castle. Footpath very narrow over the coast path. Owner very friendly and accommodating.

Good place to park overnight before John O’Groats with fantastic views. Great for our little dog who was free to wander about. No facilities but we didn’t need any. A bit windy but that didn’t bother us. Walked along to the castle
