Unnamed Road, 27876, Portocelo
Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
A wild cliff-top spot with spectacular sea views, beautiful sunsets and very quiet nights, often with nobody else present. A walking route follows the cliffs, and the location suits campervans. Access is narrow and the navigation route is incorrect, so use the normal gravel road to the viewpoint rather than the lower branch. Fishermen may pass in the evening or early morning.

Incredible... I was alone with the view. Easy to access and sublime.
Spectacular place! On the edge of cliffs with breathtaking views. A wild place, perfect for sleeping alone and watching incredible sunsets. Access is difficult, first because Google does not take you there, and then because the access road is narrow, although perfectly manageable. Suitable for vans. We did not stay overnight because there was a couple in a car when we arrived and we did not feel safe.
Beautiful place because of the view. It felt as if we were the only people in the world.
Very beautiful spot. Be sure to approach via the “normal” gravel access road to the viewpoint; do not take the lower turnoff, as it is narrow, steep, full of holes and covered in very coarse gravel. Fishermen came by in the evening and early morning, but they were not bothered by us. Beautiful view, very quiet. There are no rubbish bins. Please take your rubbish with you. We would come again.
Beautiful spot. Easy access in dry weather, even for a 7.5-metre camper.
Incredible place. We arrived late in the afternoon, watched the sunset alone and spent the night without any problems. The views are spectacular. However, the route shown is incorrect—search for the viewpoint on Google Maps. The road is very overgrown, but we reached it easily with our 6-metre camper.
Amazing place! Easy to reach.
4x4 is not necessary, we had no problem to drive there with our 6m long Volkswagen Crafter. Not suitable for big campervans since some parts are quite narrow (the road leads through the forest) and some branches are quite low (but no problem with our 3m high van). Maps didn't know the way but we just checked the road from Google Maps satellite map where you can see small road lead there.
Nature lovers, go there! Quiet and rarely visited. Water and shower were unavailable during our visit in September. Indeed, inconsiderate people had not picked up their toilet paper.
Perfect spot, very quiet night. Please leave this fabulous place clean, including women’s toilet tissues! Leave absolutely nothing behind, thank you.
Very beautiful place with a wide view over the sea. We spent the night here with only one other vehicle. Please take your rubbish, especially toilet paper, with you so that the place stays beautiful and locals continue to tolerate wild camping.
Pleasant place with impressive views. We were alone all afternoon and night in the middle of high season. The only drawback was seeing foxes around the van and having a huge number of mosquitoes at night. Otherwise, 10/10.
Beautiful and amazing. A refuge of silence, entirely for yourself. The road is very manageable, even for a not-too-high motorhome. You will find the lighthouse’s reflection and an oasis of peace!
Magnificent spot, 360-degree view, absolute tranquillity, no traffic at all during our night. Easy access with a van, more complicated for a motorhome.
