Perfect rest area; we spent one night there. It is quiet, shaded, and large enough not to be one meter from your neighbor. Clean toilets, cleaned early in the morning. Very easy to walk to the village, with good restaurants.
A positive point for the municipality of Collonges-la-Rouge, which welcomes us to a very pleasant, quiet, shaded area with everything we need. A municipality that supports its businesses. An example to follow. Thanks to its elected officials.
Shaded reception area, relatively level pitch, toilet and service area. €12 per 24 hours and a five-minute walk from the historic center of Collonges-la-Rouge. Extremely quiet. Recommended.
Services (water, waste disposal, toilets) available free of charge!
Thanks to the municipality of Collonges for this spacious motorhome area. We enjoyed the quiet, shaded spaces, just a 5–7 minute walk from the historic center of Collonges. €12 including services (water, electricity, and gray- and black-water disposal) is a perfectly reasonable price for such an exceptional site as Collonges.
Very nice area, quiet, with pitches under the trees, a few minutes’ walk from the village center. €12 for 24 hours with services.
Excellent spot for visiting the village. Shaded, with a picnic table. Suitable for staying during the day or overnight. Toilets on site. €6 for the day / €12 including the night for 24 hours.
Very nice area just a stone’s throw from the village, which is well worth a visit. Very shady.
Beautiful wooded area, with or without electricity, water, waste disposal, and sanitary facilities. They are not new, but not as awful as I have read; really, they are not. €12 per night. The parking attendant came by at 8:15 a.m.; no problem if you take a ticket. We will return.
Very good for visiting the village: water, waste disposal, toilets, a wooded area with electricity. Honestly, excellent for €12. We were parked in a spot with a small stone table, which was great, and the toilets were clean.
Beautiful pitches, unfortunately almost all sloped. Within walking distance of the village. €12 including electricity.
I’m giving three stars because of the toilets in this wooden cabin. They are awful and smell strongly of urine; they are not clean at all. Honestly, it does not make you want to use them—and I did not. As for electricity, there are not outlets everywhere. Some beautiful shaded pitches have no outlet; it would take “kilometers” of cable to reach the available ones, and those are occupied anyway.
Shaded, sanitary facilities, picnic tables. Access to Collonges-la-Rouge at 150 meters.
Thanks for this shaded but paid area.
Area close to the village. Well maintained and very quiet. Perfect for visiting the magnificent village.
Why did I give it one star? Be very careful to put your ticket on the windshield when you arrive. Otherwise, a €15 fine, plus €12 for the night. For us, avoid places like this: too many signs around the parking area. We will not return to the beautiful village. A shame for the shopkeepers.
Thanks to the municipality for this beautiful shaded area, with lovely spaces just 150 meters from the village. Very, very pleasant. The village is superb.
Visiting Collonges-la-Rouge was very pleasant and really worth the detour. We stopped at the area to fill up with water and empty the tanks.
Lots of space and trees, toilets, water, electricity, and waste disposal included in the area’s price. €6 until 6 p.m. or €12 overnight. Magnificent village.
Three peaceful nights 100 meters from the magnificent village of Collonges-la-Rouge. Excellent pitches in sun or shade, with sufficient and accessible hookups. One sanitary block, but very clean. Parking officers came by twice a day. €12 for 24 hours or €6 for the day. Nothing to complain about. Certainly busier during the main holiday period.
Nothing to add. Everything is perfect for visiting this superb village. More than reasonable price.
We spent two nights there. Quiet and relaxing. The village is 200 meters from the area. All services are available and clean.
Excellent motorhome area, electrical outlets everywhere, clean, shaded, and quiet. Clean toilets. Not far from the town center. €6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
LADUNE 85 Excellent area with all amenities and an excellent village. We recommend it.
The location is ideal for starting hikes, visiting the village, and spending a quiet night.
Good spot, but the drinking-water tap is very unhygienic.
Perfect for visiting this really lovely village and spending a quiet night. Electrical hookup is possible, even though there is not an outlet at every pitch—but is that really a problem? €12 for 24 hours.
The area is well located near the village! There is not an electrical outlet at every pitch, which did not bother us because there were few people at this time of year, but it could be problematic during the season.
Parking area for the day or overnight. Pitches in shade and sun, level. Very reasonable price over this Easter weekend: €12 per night with electricity included. Located 150 meters from the village. We recommend the place.
It’s a lovely village but very commercial. In my opinion go to Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne. Quieter and a better site on the river. We paid €6 for day parking
Beautiful red limestone village, very friendly people, tasty food, and lovely hats. The area has no water or electricity until April 1; the barrier is raised. Many trees, but very poorly maintained.
Free with water and emptying operational, no electrics at the moment. Very quiet at this time of year. HOWEVER - 1 * due to total lack of health & safety - I tripped over a very large rock embedded in the middle of a path near toilet block (whilst walking my dogs - sober!) I hurt myself very badly. Why that rock is in the centre of a designated footpath I have no idea. Extremely dangerous.
Great gravel parking area, reasonably flat but still no services. Currently free and easy 10 minute walk to a great restaurant that offers vegetarian options.
There was nobody there when we arrived or when we left. Lovely area, with no services because it is free. Perfect location for visiting the château, five minutes on foot, and strolling through the medieval town. We visited in February, outside the season.
There are only three motorhomes and nobody around. There has been expansion work, so it is currently free, but there are no facilities, which is understandable given the work. We came here in summer, and it was a completely different story!
Perfect for the night! Currently free and without facilities, but ideally located just a 5-minute walk from the center.
Still under construction but accessible, currently free, no electricity.
Really nice place, 10 minutes from the village. Under construction, so entry is free.
Beautiful view, just steps from the village and hiking trails. Free during the construction work, and therefore no electricity.
At the moment there are no facilities and it is free. Very peaceful, pleasant area, with shaded and sunny spots. Five minutes from this beautiful village.
Great location. For now, access is free and the facilities are available except for electricity. The water inlet can freeze, which is normal given the below-freezing temperatures. Pour a little hot water over the hose and it works. The water and waste-disposal facilities are at the entrance on the right.
In winter the parking is free and without facilities. Don't hesitate to go all the way to the back; the view is lovely.
The parking is currently free and without facilities. Large, clean parking area, easy access—we have a 7.5 m motorhome—and 50 m from the magnificent village. Thank you to the municipality.
Very tight turn to enter. Currently impossible with my 9 m vehicle because at the entrance, in the turn, there is a large stone on the left and a wall on the right. In my opinion, it is possible with a maximum length of 8 m. Turning around was only possible because a nearby parking area was completely empty in November.
