You rarely find a place that makes you feel so good. At The Land of Gogs we found peace, authentic nature, welcoming people, and an atmosphere that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We initially came for 3 days, but felt so good that we decided to extend our stay by another week. I think this is the clearest sign that a place is truly special.Translating
Everything has been said already, fabulous place to stay. Pay by donation of course but the altruism of the owners is amazing. Mobile numer written by the gate, owner speaks good English (among other languages I'm sure). Translating
Very beautiful spot in the middle of nature. We were the only ones there and really enjoyed the place. Occasional pit toilet, but everything is beautifully arranged. There are also fire pits, a small vegetable garden, and a covered seating area. Donation-based payment/free of charge. We would gladly come again!Translating
A truly little paradise! Very warm and welcoming hosts who are happy to share this piece of land and the feeling of freedom you have here. There are several fire pits, a composting toilet, and a barn for bad weather. There are no showers. At the barn there is a box where you can put in your euro or leu contribution. Be generous—the hosts are too!Translating
Fantastic place with wonderful owners who give so much of themselves. We were there from July 14–16, 2025, and enjoyed the nature, fresh air, and swimming in the Aries. Highly recommended!!! Be sure to leave a voluntary contribution so the place can continue sustainably.Translating
A very beautiful, peaceful place. You should be well prepared regarding fresh water, food, etc. There is “nothing” here except beautiful nature and a great host!Translating
An idyllic place, wonderful hosts.Translating
If you like peace and quiet, friendliness, simplicity, and nature, go for it—there is no better place for you. We have never experienced such a friendly and warm welcome. However, if you like orderly campsites with large sanitary facilities and many services such as laundry, dishes, and more, keep going. One regret: we could not stay longer.Translating
A very beautiful and quiet place right by the river, where you can swim. The owner is incredibly nice and speaks English. You get a schnapps upon arrival, and later I was also offered two mici. Very basic, yet everything you need is there.Translating
We stayed here 3 nights. The views are top, and we had so much peace there. The owner is really welcoming, we stayed every night talking about the area, and life.Translating
Everything was closed and the grass was very high. What a shame—it looked like a nice place.Translating
