Beach parking, mosquitoes

Flies and mosquitoes made the stop very unpleasant, plus a water-lifting pump. In the morning, a walk around and on the Devil’s Bridge was accompanied by extremely nauseating smells, resulting in a mediocre experience.

Very expensive parking. Swarming with mosquitoes.

Beautiful and very peaceful place. Undisturbed, level, unfortunately without shade. Surrounded by nature. Free water filling and emptying.

A water point and a dump station are available for motorhomes.

Free for cars with rooftop tents from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m., but overnight parking is charged for motorhomes. 5G okay, Free network. Bins available, but sanitary facilities are closed in the evening. Quiet.

Stopped for one night. €16. Sanitary facilities open during the day when the tourist office is open. Direct beach access. Close to Saint-Guilhem by bicycle. A little expensive for April.

We stopped during the day and took the opportunity to fill our water tank and empty the tanks. Great that this tourist parking area offers these services! The parking is very expensive for a short stop, but more justified overnight. Direct access to the Devil’s Bridge, its “beach” and walking trails. Toilets available during the day at the visitor centre.

€16 for 24 hours. €8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. First hour free. Perfect services, very pleasant and quiet location.

The parking area is very large. €8 from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. No electricity, but water services. Easter weekend: we are two motorhomes!

Superb surroundings, the Devil’s Bridge and Clamouse Cave. The parking is free in the off-season. It is a shame that the fresh-water and black-water services are unavailable, even for a small fee. Thank you to the municipality.

Mobile internet is unpredictable: very good or nothing. Service point out of order, black-water hatch padlocked!

Three stars for the setting and location, but no marked pitches, few spaces, and cars occupying the rare available spots. It is useful in this season, but what about summer?…

Several narrow barrier entrances without a boom gate, so entry is possible for free, but 40 spaces? Some private cars were parked in the designated motorhome spaces and were abandoned when we arrived. These people disappeared into nowhere, so we also disappeared and drove away. Safe place???

Today the barriers have been removed. Services operational and free. Thank you to the municipality.

We also confirm that on 8 November there was no barrier and the services were accessible. We spent one night with five other motorhomes. Close to the gorges and hiking trailheads.

Today, 7 November 2025, there was no barrier at the entrance to the aire, so we were able to park and use the services for free. There is even water for rinsing the cassette.

A real scam. We arrived yesterday at 11:02 a.m. and left this morning at 10:30 a.m.; I paid €24! Dusty parking, no lighting, no electrical hookup, no Wi-Fi, no telephone network or extremely weak reception. And above all, no free shuttle to Saint-Guilhem. The shuttle is included in the price but only operates during school holidays… A complete rip-off!

Warning about arrival time. Beware of the scam. If you enter, after two barriers, just before 7 p.m., you pay €8 twice. Far too expensive for the poor services: dust, smelly bins and engine noise. Parking area to boycott.

Total scam. You pay the high-season price but there are no shuttles and no services, no Wi-Fi or 4G/5G reception, no lift for disabled people—only lots and lots of mosquitoes!

Entirely consistent with what is described in the previous review: you must pass the second barrier and scan the QR code on the entry ticket. Thanks to the municipality. Regards.

Very practical for services: free entry for one hour and free access to the dump station, rinse point and drinking water. Thank you for thinking of passing motorhomes.

In high season it is excessively expensive. €15 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. if you stay more than one hour, and the same from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. The only positive is that you can take the free buses, every 15 minutes in August, to visit Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, since it is impossible by motorhome.

Used the facilities on 30 July; they worked correctly. Fresh water, dump station and toilet. Access to the parking area is free for one hour.

First hour of parking free. Had lunch here. Grey and black water emptied and drinking water taken on board. This was free too. There is a lovely little lake and a bridge. Closed off with barriers, which open automatically when you press the button for a parking ticket. So you can leave free of charge again within an hour.

Positive: grey-water disposal, black-water disposal, and fresh-water tank filling. The rest of the site has no shade, so it gets very hot; no electricity or Wi-Fi, and mosquitoes. The tourist office staff are helpful and provide the bus timetable. ATTENTION: the shuttle does not run off-season except on weekends; take Lio bus 668 at Pont du Diable, on the right when going there. The price is too high: €16 for parking.

This parking area is certainly well located, but you must not mind the smell of septic tanks, mosquitoes, and the noise from a sewage treatment plant. It is a shame there is no electricity. The motorhome spaces should be in the area reserved for coaches. Otherwise, the receptionist is friendly, the free shuttle is very practical, and the rest of the site is very well arranged.

Parking area well located for the Pont du Diable site and the shuttle to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Good to know: if you spend €50 at the site shop (there are good products such as wine, honey, and jam), parking is free.

The 2025 rate for motorhomes only has increased. In low season, from April 17 to the end of June and from September to early November, it rises from €6 to €8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from €6 to €8 from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m., meaning €12 to €16 per 24 hours. The high-season rate in July and August remains €15 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and €15 from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m., meaning €30 per 24 hours. Services included: water, waste disposal, and cassette toilet disposal. Parking and the service area are free for the rest of the year.

Superb parking area for visiting the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, via regular shuttles every 30 minutes, since parking there is impossible. Five minutes from the parking area, you can swim in the Hérault River and enjoy the beautiful scenery: Pont du Diable, gorges, natural river, and more.

Very good location and, on top of that, free in low season. Access to the water via the small path is well signposted all the way to Pont du Diable. Excellent. It is a shame the services were not working.
