Lakeside hiking lay-by, busy access

Starting point for hikes or canoe trips, so there is plenty of activity. The gravel road is busy. You are definitely not alone here. We drove on, although the lake is very beautiful.

A very nice place. It is quiet, although a timber truck passes the site every hour. After the first time, it noticeably slowed down and took us into consideration. We spent the night alone. During the day, people occasionally came with kayaks and dogs, but everyone was very friendly.

Easy to reach, with no traffic at night; some cars came by in the morning. The place is mainly used for launching canoes. Nearby there is also a shelter, rubbish bins, a fire pit, and a rustic pit toilet.

Nice view of the lake, but directly beside the road, where cars occasionally pass and hikers park. The pit toilets in the forest do not smell, but they are very rustic, with spiders and wasp nests. Still, a nice place to spend the night.

What a amazingly beautiful and tranquil place. We had a quiet night. Evenings and mornings are breathtaking. Would definitely recommend. Please respect nature and take your trash with you so everyone can enjoy this hidden gem.

Very nice site, by the roadside but very quiet at night. We slept there for two nights. Good access to the water for SUPing; the lake is beautiful. In the forest, 200 meters away, there is even a small sandy beach for swimming. We also caught a pike; fishing licenses are available online.

The best place so far, directly by the water and super quiet.

You are certainly allowed to spend the night here, because contrary to another comment, the place is not in the middle of a nature reserve. A map at the site shows that a reserve—a gravel ridge deposited by glacial ice—is directly adjacent. Somewhat uneven. Wonderful view. The wooden furniture is broken. No fish in the lake.

Nice place beside the gravel road but facing the water. Space for about four or five cars, but we were completely alone. I recommend this place!

Excellent spot, directly by the lake, though somewhat uneven. There is room for three motorhomes. On the opposite side is a boardwalk leading directly to the pit toilet. Wonderful. Please keep the place clean!

One point deducted because it is directly beside the barely used road. Across the road, reached via a very hidden boardwalk, there are two very clean pit toilets.
