Been here?
Daytime parking with beautiful views of the Zugspitze and a restaurant serving food and drinks. The area is often very busy, with traffic and tour buses, and the toilet is not permanently open. Overnight stays are prohibited, and the nearby Fernpass-Straße can make the area noisy.

It’s fine for a break, but it’s very busy at this time of year—far too chaotic.Translating
One star deducted because of the noise and another because the toilet is not open permanently. Nevertheless, it is a good option for passing through and offers a lovely view.Translating
A spontaneous stop to eat. We had three minutes to decide which dish we wanted because the kitchen closes very punctually. We managed and chose Wiener schnitzel! Perfect for us. This place seems to be a magnet for tour buses showing tourists the Zugspitze. Well, the weather doesn’t follow the number of tourists being taken up there—funny to watch. :))Translating
Extremely overcrowded. We just managed to find a parking space with our LT. You can eat well in the restaurant while enjoying a beautiful view. Worth stopping at along the route. Overnight stays are forbidden.Translating
Magnificent view. However, the police came at 11 p.m. to ask us to leave because sleeping in your vehicle is forbidden here. Several vans and motorhomes had to leave during the night to reach the German border.Translating
Not very flat, but good enough.Translating
We only stopped for a view of the Zugspitze. It was very busy in the afternoon, and we just found a place at the edge for our panel van. But the view of the Zugspitze is priceless, and definitely worth stopping for.Translating
