1 Bahnhofstraße, 01829, Stadt Wehlen
Been here?
A quiet parking area beside the public pool, with attractive views and a good location for hiking to the Bastei, Schleifgrund, and Lohmen. A maximum of 3 campers is allowed, and parking costs 14€ for 24 hours with coins or 2€ more through the app. There are no motorhome disposal facilities and no proper rubbish bin. The ferry is a 5-minute walk away, while public toilets are available nearby and pool toilets may be usable in summer.

All in all, a really beautiful place. But for €14 (when paid in coins at the machine; via the app it costs €2 more), there is not even a trash bin. In general, this is a very camper-unfriendly area.Translating
A wonderful location for a stopover and visiting the Bastei. A 5-minute walk to the ferry, which crosses to the other bank for €2. There are also clean, well-kept public toilets there in Stadt Wehlen. Unfortunately, the swimming pool toilets were closed. It is advisable to book the parking ticket through the EasyPark app.Translating
Unfortunately, not exactly cheap for no services, but it has a beautiful view and relaxed surroundings.Translating
Very beautiful, quiet, idyllic place. The two of us stayed here for one night. It is certainly very crowded in high season. Unfortunately, there is no waste disposal. Otherwise, we found it very pleasant. In summer, the toilets can apparently be used at the outdoor pool for a fee. Only three motorhome spaces, which should be observed so that the spaces remain available.Translating
We spent one night here and it was very nice. At this time of year it may be fine, even if there are a few more campers than indicated, but in summer please follow the rule of three campers. Unfortunately, there are also no waste disposal facilities.Translating
Dreamlike beautiful place in winter; in summer it will certainly be packed because of the swimming pool. One star deducted because there are no electricity hookups and no other disposal facilities either.Translating
Quiet with amazing view. €14/24h with coins or €16.1 with an app. There is paper recycling container, and glass recycling closer to train station. No other containers available except small rubbish near the ferry
Very beautiful place, and at this price you really cannot complain. We stayed here for two days and really enjoyed it.Translating
Very beautiful spot, a good starting point for cycling and hiking. Be considerate and park properly—do not ruin this lovely place. According to the parking meter, only three motorhomes are allowed.Translating
From our perspective, this place is a hidden gem. The somewhat narrow approach is a village road and easy to drive on. It is peaceful here. Pay at the machine or via the EasyPark app. It costs €14 for 24 hours. However, I suspect this spot will not exist for much longer. It would be too good…Translating
Those who can read have a clear advantage! A limit of three motorhomes is not indicated anywhere—it is parking lot 3 in the municipality (swimming pool). App payment costs €2.10 more. Services cost money. It clearly says to press the silver button for vehicles over 3 tonnes, then the corresponding price appears; hourly payment is also possible for a short stay. PAY YOUR DUES AND PRESERVE THESE NATURE SPOTS!!!Translating
Beautiful pitch for starting hikes and then falling straight into bed afterward. By the way, 24 hours cost only €8 via the EasyPark app. The outdoor pool is open for toilet use (€0.50) until 7 p.m.Translating
Great idea, but unfortunately people keep disregarding or ignoring the rules, taking the fourth and fifth spaces and behaving as if this were a campsite. Only three motorhomes are allowed. What a shame—you are causing campers to be banned from more and more parking lots.Translating
A great place, right by the water. Three motorhomes are allowed, as stated on the machine. Unfortunately, a fourth, fifth, and more keep joining them, parking across the spaces despite the signs, extending awnings, and putting out chairs. This is how you ensure that there will be fewer places like this.Translating
I cannot understand the many five-star reviews. The two stars are for the beautiful view. Deductions for the very difficult, narrow approach, €14 for nothing, and the noisy railway. Showers for €1.50 at the swimming pool? No such thing. Showers are only for paying guests, and the hair dryer costs extra. There are no power outlets either.Translating
Very beautiful place directly in the front row by the water. Payment by coins at the machine, maximum three motorhomes at the same time. We were slightly confused on the approach because there was a sign saying “Vehicles over 3 t prohibited,” but it did not seem to apply to the site. We would highly recommend this place.Translating
Very beautiful place. We come here often. Swimming at the outdoor pool and staying overnight. Great.Translating
Beautiful parking lot right next to the Elbe and a swimming pool, without direct sanitary facilities. Parking for 24 hours costs €7 for cars and €14 for buses or caravans. Camping was possible here without any problems, and apart from occasional train noise, we had a pleasant night. Recommended :)Translating
Beautiful place right on the meadow by the Elbe. We took the ferry across and back for €3. Toilet use at the inflatable-boat rental costs €1, but it was not always open. Camping was possible here without any problems. We will definitely come back!Translating
Wonderful view of the Elbe River. Coins are required to pay for parking.Translating
Really beautiful place with a view of the Elbe and the town of Wehlen. Train and ferry nearby. There is an outdoor pool next door, which was not yet open at Easter. It will certainly be busier then. €14 per day parking fee, coins only, is acceptable. The trash container is very small. Inflatable-boat, hiking, and cycling tours are possible from here.Translating
