This mountain location above Split offers scenic views and space for walking, but it no longer appears to have active services or a functioning structure. Reaching it requires a strong 4x4, good tyres and careful driving on a badly damaged, stony road. The location is private, and vehicles have reportedly been asked to leave.

We arrived around 3:00 p.m. There was no one in the hut. Around 6:00 p.m., a man dressed like a hunter and carrying a weapon arrived. He showed an ID card and a badge, then said the vehicle had to be moved.
There is no service because there is no structure! It is only a beautiful place above Split. A strong 4x4 is necessary. I arrived here with my pickup.
Don't go to this place! There is a yelling dog and the house is in private hands. Also on of my tires was broken down on the way to this place because the road to it is in very bad conditions and has a lot of sharp stones alongside.
Cool spot with a beautiful panoramic view. Great for hiking tours. From Donja Sitno, there is only 1.5 km of genuinely unpaved dirt road, but it was manageable with a Vito. It’s great that places like this exist.
