Riverside parking, noisy Saturdays

We stopped here several times. Very quiet and shaded. Since last October, the restaurant has reopened. For €14 you can have a mixed salad of your choice. We were also able to enjoy ice cream after our meal, thanks to my grandson who asked for one. All that is missing are services, and it will be perfect. Best of luck to the new managers, and thank you for your welcome.

We came only for lunch: a very nice, level, shaded area. However, access is difficult if coming from Millau because of a hairpin bend on an incline. I continued on, and the GPS took me on a long detour along very narrow roads. I think the best option is to turn around and take the hill straight on, as if coming from Rodez.

Nice spot on a former camping, with lots of shade and right next to the river. The bar next door serves really good fries. Locals gather every day to play Jeu de boules and will be happy to invite you for a game :) Saturday night there was a loud party in the bar until very late, the other nights were quiet though, apart from a little background noise of the nearby road. Toilet at mairie, 200m.

Perfect place! Very quiet, with spacious areas under trees. We recommend it!

A lovely stop near the Aveyron under the trees. Just above, you will find Ophelie's Bar, always pleasant and ready to serve whatever drinks you want, as well as charcuterie and cheese boards, fries, paninis, and so on, with friendliness and efficiency. A truly enjoyable moment in good company.

A real Vanlifer's spot. Nothing to complain about; it was perfect for us despite the rain. And Eric's fries and sausages were an absolute treat. If you don't like this spot, you should stop camping ;). No facilities, but you don't need anything to be happy.

Choice pitches near the river. Bins nearby, a small shopping area less than a 10-minute walk away. Quiet. Hiking opportunities.

If you have children and are looking for peace and quiet, don't come here.

Great spot for the night, not forgetting the lovely surprise on arrival: Eric's little chip stand. He is originally from northern France, so the fries are simply delicious, with their little sauces, not to mention the sausage that goes with them!!!! ;)

We slept wonderfully here, nice and quiet, with a small chip shop. It only serves fries. For an overnight stop while passing through, it is a good place, but I would not take a major detour for it.

A small, peaceful, flat and quiet spot. We were tempted by Eric's chip stand, where the homemade fries and welcome are excellent. Bring your pétanque balls to play with the very friendly locals.

You can eat excellent homemade fries at lunchtime and from 7 to 9 p.m. Incredible, peaceful—pure happiness!

A very peaceful place in the middle of nature, with plenty of space for several motorhomes and campers, and some picnic tables. At night you can hear the frogs in the river, which is very relaxing. There is a small food stall in the area, but it was already closed when we arrived and we could not try it.

Nicely shaded. The grounds appear well maintained. The national road on the other side of the river is noticeable but quiet at night. The bar-pizzeria was closed. Access to the river for swimming is difficult: a fallen tree blocks the way. Many thanks to the owner for allowing us access to this land.

Hello, quiet, shady and somewhat secluded place near the Aveyron River. No facilities for now, just Eric, the King of Fries, who came from the north. The fries are very good; he peels the potatoes himself—what dedication. If you address him formally, it will cost you €1... just a joke. Bin near the old bridge; please leave everything clean.

Eric's fries are excellent, just like back home in northern France!

Very pleasant place to spend the night. There is a pétanque court, but above all a stand serving homemade fries that are incredibly good. He serves until 9 p.m., but if you call beforehand, he may wait for you after 9 p.m. I recommend it :-)

We came back just for the fries! The owner peels his own potatoes. Don't plan on eating at a restaurant during this stopover.

A green haven conducive to rest, day and night. Excellent fries made with real potatoes. A must-stop before or after visiting the Soulages Museum in Rodez.

To get there when arriving from Rodez, don't necessarily follow your GPS. Take the road through the shops, not the one that climbs. You will arrive at a pleasant, quiet place. The ch'ti's fries served on site are excellent. We happened to be in a car today, but we will gladly return with the motorhome.

Quiet, green, plenty of space and really delicious fries. Also suitable for larger motorhomes when it has not rained. First turn around at the turning circle, then go down to the site. Highly recommended!
