Small gravel parking area for hikers visiting Kitzlochklamm, beside a rushing stream in a mountain setting. The surface is relatively flat, but recent reports describe very loud river and road noise, with traffic becoming noticeable from 6h. A quieter nature parking area is located further up the side road, but it is a different nearby place.

We stayed there for the night because we had not found another spot. Avoid it! Very, very noisy between the road and the river. You have to go a little farther up the secondary road, where the nature parking area is much quieter. We went there to have breakfast. We should have gone there the previous evening.
Car park from which you can go hiking. Not busy at all. Nobody objected to us, even in the morning. Traffic on the adjacent road is fairly loud, but it was possible to sleep.
Beautiful surroundings, small flat car park. The stream is a little noisy, but with earplugs we slept well. The road becomes fairly busy from 6 a.m.
We stayed here one night in a car. Level surface. There were two other motorhomes with us. The river was noisy but did not disturb our sleep, nor did the road traffic. Otherwise, beautiful mountain surroundings.
Good parking area for spending the night. Naturally, you can hear the river (if you do not like the sounds of nature, travelling by van is not for you), and in the morning you can hear the cars a little (it is right beside the road). The gentleman who lives in the house opposite, formerly a guesthouse, came over to say hello. A very pleasant man.
Relatively flat parking area. Noisy. The sound of the river partly masks the road noise.
