Picnic parking, busy mornings

Small parking area with picnic table, water and toilet. Quiet late in the evening and at night, with lots of traffic in the morning. It remains a good option for spending one night.✦Translating

Very clean, beautiful place for 3–4 vans. New picnic furniture, fresh water, bin and a great eco-toilet hut!! Unfortunately, the road is not very quiet, but it was fine in the evening and at night. The illuminated pyramid is very bright, but with good blackout it was not a problem. Great for a stopover; 4 stars only because of the traffic and lighting.✦Translating

Very good for one night. Very clean ecological toilets, open. Mountain views. Traffic not bothersome for one night. The tower is the one called “Pyramid,” erected in thanks for the fact that cholera spared the town. The hike to the waterfall starts farther upstream from this parking area, before the bridge, from the viewpoint just before the campsite, which I think is called La Châtaigneraie.✦Translating

Wonderful place to stop for a picnic; the facilities have been refurbished and are brand new (table, bench, toilet, water point, bin). We also spent a quiet night there; the road has little traffic!✦Translating
