The parking costs €7, charged only to motorhomes, but it is an open car park where cars park without paying. The toilets are public, and when tourist buses arrive they become dirty. Nobody came to clean in two days. There are two electrical outlets. Access to the disposal area is poor. There is also a coffee stand in the same car park that runs on a petrol generator and makes a lot of noise.

Fantastic spot. Soajo is a stunning place with spectacular surroundings. The village has shops, cafés, restaurants. The spot has WC, showers, electricity. And all for just 7€ per night. Highly recommended.

A perfect place to spend the night. We stayed for two nights: the first was very good, but the second was a nightmare because three unruly teenagers banged on the motorhome at 4 a.m. It is a shame that such a beautiful village does not take better care of the tourists who leave money with the parents of these troublemakers.

At first glance, just a car park where you can spend the night. Three sockets are available, requiring a long extension cable. Services are free. During the day, the sanitary facilities and showers are new and clean. Nearby there is a grocery shop and butcher with takeaway, plus a small grocery-bar-restaurant also offering takeaway. Close to the granaries and historic centre. The only drawback is that the streetlights are very bright at night.

Many thanks to the village of Soajo: clean bathrooms, hot water and a peaceful village. A ten out of ten.

Convenient but very little shade. Full services: grey-water disposal and a drinking-water tap.

We really liked the village; it has services for motorhomes and we were even able to shower. We didn't quite understand how to pay though :( It has spectacular trails.

Actually a great place. However, we drove on after one night in the afternoon. There were annoying teenagers who kept riding their electric scooters over our electricity cable and carelessly threw rubbish everywhere. Unfortunately, they also misused the sanitary building. Since they are teenagers from the village, the municipality should check more often. What a shame.

Very pleasant parking area right next to the granaries. Full service, toilets and showers. We highly recommend it and thank the local community for this initiative.

A beautiful historic village with fabulous views from the parking area. It’s a great place to go hiking. Lots of space to park, clean toilets and showers with hot water. It looks like there is only 1 water tap for filling, which is next to the chemical waste disposal. Other than that, it’s excellent value for money

Excellent motorhome stop. The village is very beautiful and worth visiting. It has everything necessary, including a hot-water shower open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The electrical connection is outside the bathroom.

What a fantastic stop didn’t stay the night just parked for a few hours the scenery getting there was amazing and the village was like travelling back in time lots of stray dogs but didn’t bother mine the villagers feed the dogs and there’s cows wandering around

Brilliant, surrounded by cows, dogs and horses roaming freely. In the morning they open the bathroom, which has unlimited hot showers. We were able to charge the e-bikes, and they can even be repaired and inflated. We could not pay because the tourist office would not open for another three days; the caretaker told us to spend the money in the village. The bars, restaurants and supermarkets are all very friendly.

Convenient area in the village of Soajo itself, allowing easy access to bars, restaurants and supermarkets. There are dogs in the streets, very sociable; this is normal because they are part of the village’s story. We travelled with three dogs, and they played with the village dogs.

Excellent. Many places should follow this example: electricity, waste disposal, sanitary facilities with hot showers, a flat pitch in the centre of the village, all for €7 for the first two nights and then €5 for each subsequent night. Tickets are available at the tourist office. Thanks to the municipality for this welcome.

Great stop, and a quiet night. I tried cycling, but it turned into a walk. The cycle path recommended by AllTrails was not bike-friendly. It would be a lovely walk if I were not pushing a bicycle. Lovely hot water for showers. Pay at the tourist centre, which opens at 9 a.m. on Monday. Thanks, Soajo.

We came here to charge our batteries but the plugs don’t work. I give 2 stars because there is water and toilets that were clean in the morning.

Excellent place to park and explore the charming village. I spent two nights there. Take the “Caminho do Pão” trail; it is beautiful.

Very good motorhome area: level, with internet, bathroom, grey- and black-water disposal, and electricity (currently only one outlet works), very close to the village centre. It is not free; you must go to the parish council and pay €7 per day.

We had a quiet night. It was not crowded. Unfortunately, there is only one fresh-water connection, at the toilet-disposal point. Beautiful village and lovely walks. Cattle, horses and dogs roam freely through the village.

We spent three nights in Soajo. We loved the place, shared with animals roaming completely freely. The residents are very welcoming, and the hiking trails amazed us with their colours, scents and magnificent landscapes. There are viewpoints, the granaries, Poço das Mantas natural pools, and local restaurants. We will definitely return to the park.

Very good value for money. €7 per night (October 2025), including toilets and showers, very clean, electricity, water, black- and grey-water disposal, and even a bike washing and inflation station. The pitches are large and partly shaded. However, the lower access road is partly narrow, making it difficult for two motorhomes to pass.

We both loved it here! The village is gorgeous, and you can easily spend an hour wandering around the centre. Very friendly people. The ancient granaries are amazing! Very unique. There are lots of ancient paths around the edge of the village. The facilities could be better , but they work and are a bonus. Come for the place not the facilities! Pay at tourist office in village centre.

A well-located car park in the centre of the municipality for visiting and hiking, with cows and horses passing among us. It would be good to have hooks in the showers for hanging clothes; it should not cost much. Services work.

Quiet place! A very pretty village. Someone wrote that people had unpacked tables and chairs; we asked at the tourist office this morning, and it is allowed without any problem. €7 with electricity and hot showers, payable at the tourist office before leaving or upon arrival. A coat hook in the showers would be useful. Thank you to the municipality.

Park with plenty of space for motorhome stops. The services leave much to be desired: showers have no supports for clothes or other belongings, and the men’s shower drains are blocked and flood. I hope the money we paid will be used to repair and install what is missing. The parish council employees are very friendly.

Unfortunately, some people think they are on a campsite and unpack tables and chairs. I understand why some municipalities do not allow motorhomes access.

Sublime place, with cows, horses, goats and extremely friendly stray dogs. Toilet, shower and electricity for €7—what more could you ask for? I really liked it. The caretaker also speaks French. Thanks to the municipality.

In terms of services, this park falls short of what was advertised. Public lighting is present but does not work. The sanitary facilities are open during the day. It is peaceful for spending the night.

Good location for hiking and visiting the granaries. Yes, there are dogs, but we heard no barking and slept well. Fresh-water and waste-water services are cramped but okay.

Beautiful scenery in the nature reserve. Ownerless, barking dogs; the washhouse is so-so. €7 per night is okay. Three electrical outlets at the site.

If you like dogs barking all night, you are in the right place. We spent a very restless night.
