Riverside mountain clearing, steep entrance

Incredible! It is so large that even with two vans, you feel alone in the world. Magnificent mountain view. Park on the side so you do not block the owner or the cows, who take their evening stroll.

The GPS point is incorrect. Great place. Out of season, we were alone in the world. Fantastic!

Very special location, what a joy to stay here. We got a few visits from the local sheep and cows as well as their dogs and owner. Everyone is friendly. The road to get there isn't too far so push through the potholes and you'll be rewarded with an incredible view. Our 6.6m motorhome had no issue with the steep driveway down!

Absolutely top spot. A hidden gem! The entrance from the main road is a bit rough, so take it easy, but it's absolutely worth it. A peaceful place surrounded by mountains, cows and sheep. A huge asphalt spot in the middle of nowhere, so don't expect any facilities, but just beautiful nature!

In 3 years of vanlife, this is definitely one of my top 5 spots anywhere. The peace, the beautiful views, the cleanliness...the otherworldly feel of this immense abandoned road against the backdrop of mountains. A perfect spot. Good cell reception too. The initial drop from the main road into the dirt road to access is rough...be careful!!

Large, clean area, which is very rare, and fairly quiet. We met a farmer with his sheep; he said nothing to us. No services, but good mobile reception.

Perfect place! We were alone with the cows, very quiet and very clean. It needs to stay that way.

For some unknown reason, there is a huge parking area here that could accommodate 50 motorhomes, at the foot of the mountains and surrounded by cows and goats. Complete tranquillity, access to hiking trails, and the sound of the river masks the noise of the fairly nearby motorway. The spot is very clean and 20 minutes from Pietrapertosa for a day trip.

What a place! In the middle of nature (the cows and sheep roam around freely) and still very close to the highway (which you can hear if a truck passes). I was here in July and had absolute privacy except for the farmer who came to check on the cows late in the evening and the farmer who strolled by with his flock of sheep in the early morning. Loved it! Very clean too! So please keep it that way.

There are fireflies here! We were very lucky; it was incredible to see. Great place. The river is not especially nice for swimming, but it is okay. Not much shade, though there are a few spots under trees.

Quiet place—you can hear the motorway a little, but it is more like background noise—among cows, sheep and goats. We even saw black storks. The police came to check that everything was okay and wished us a good day. As long as you respect the place, it will remain permitted.
