Been here?
A quiet, slightly uneven or sloping parking area directly beside Lichtenberg Castle, with four official motorhome spaces at the rear. The castle is a 2-minute walk away, and several hiking trails start directly from the parking area. There are no electricity or water services, but the castle toilets are open 24/7. The front area is a bus turning zone and should not be used for parking.

Very quiet in a wonderful location—it's a shame there is no electricity, water, or anything similar.
Slightly sloped; okay for one night. The toilets in the castle are very clean.
Large paved parking area with four official motorhome spaces at the very back. Surely more can fit. The front area is a turning area for buses; do not park there. Toilets in the castle are open 24/7. We stayed one night and there was nothing going on. Happy to come back.
We came here for a stopover and, by chance, the “No More Nazi Bullshit Festival” was taking place. We had the best time of our lives. Nice paved parking area. Quiet night.
Totally quiet during the night. Toilet in the castle after the gate. Toilet and castle open 24/7
Beautiful, quiet spot directly by the castle
Great place by a beautiful castle. Little traffic and ideal for a peaceful night. The motorhome spaces by the signs are quite sloped. Levelling ramps are strongly recommended for anyone bothered by that.
A beautiful place if you have everything with you: water, electricity, and a toilet. The castle is very, very beautiful.
Very quiet night. The paved parking area is somewhat uneven; bring a levelling block. No possibility of disposing of rubbish, as construction work is underway, but toilets are available in the castle. The museums and site are well worth visiting. Very enjoyable.
Completely quiet place with a view of the castle. Various circular trails start directly from the parking area. No stopping at the front because of the bus turning area; spaces for motorhomes are reserved at the back. Thank you.
Excellent motorhome spot for a stopover. The castle is well worth seeing and, especially when travelling with children, is a lovely break in the journey. The castle toilet seems to be open continuously.
