A quiet, mostly level parking area below the castle, with some shade and beautiful views over Portillo. It is suitable for vehicles of any size and fits around 3 or 4 vans without crowding. There are no services apart from a small bin. The lower approach is via VP-2202, and the castle and village are close by.

Quiet parking area, mostly flat and somewhat shaded. Access via the lower road (VP-2202). Perfect for motorhomes of any size; a heavy truck was parked next to us without extending beyond the parking area. We did not stay overnight, but it seems like a quiet area. There was hardly any traffic during our stop, and pedestrians do not usually pass through.
We slept well and felt safe at the foot of this beautiful castle in a tiny village! The view is magnificent. The spot is large enough for three or four vans without being too cramped. No services apart from a small bin.
The castle is well worth visiting. But there is no parking around the castle, only a sign referring to the motorhome service area. Parking at the castle therefore seems prohibited. The service area also has a beautiful view!
Superb village and castle! With a view like we have rarely seen in the early morning! We recommend it once again.
The place is very quiet, but there is not a single flat spot.
