Camping Morgenfurt

Quiet, friendly and family-oriented place. We spent two nights here with a motorhome. The toilets are clean and in good condition. What is annoying is that the hot water for the shower works with tokens: one token costs 50 cents (2026), but it does not last very long. The lake is magnificent and the shore is well maintained. We spent two nights here; for two people and a car we paid €76. Pleasant owner, clean facilities with electricity and hot showers (€0.50 for three minutes). Access to the water is from a pier or via a somewhat rocky beach. Cash payments only.✦Translating

Without a reservation (we called beforehand), we just managed to get a spot in August. The operator was very nice and helpful! Right on the water, perfect for SUP or kayaking. Showers are coin-operated, but the coins are provided free of charge. Super-hot water, everything tip-top. The toilets and entire sanitary area were also very clean, even though the campsite was really full!✦Translating

We had reserved in advance. Very nice contact, and very courteous and helpful on site. Great natural campsite by the lake. Road and railway noise were barely audible. Sanitary facilities okay, but points deducted for cash-only payment, shower tokens and separate electricity billing.✦Translating

The campsite is okay, nothing special. Clean bathrooms, but the token-operated hot-water system is, to put it mildly, problematic. Pitches are narrow, with the railway nearby and road and train noise on the farther pitches. Cash payment only.✦Translating

Great campsite right on the lake. Everyone there is very friendly, and we easily got a pitch without a reservation. However, the railway tracks directly next door should not be underestimated. The freight trains practically drove through our tent, which greatly spoiled the atmosphere. We left earlier than originally planned.✦Translating

This place is just awesome!!! Even when everything else was full Mr. Morgenfurt had a place and was very nice! We had to dogs which stayed for free. The dogs cannot go into the water there, but 300 m away there is a free beach. Toilettea and washrooms are very clean, the pizza restaurant is nice! 40€ for 2 days, 2 persons + 2 dogs! A beautiful campsite right on the lake! The site is very quiet and offers a wonderful atmosphere for relaxing. The lake water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming. We did not stay here. We only wanted to empty our wastewater and fill the water tank, but this was impossible, even though we offered to pay. The services are only available to people staying here.✦Translating

Very beautiful campsite with a family atmosphere. We have rarely experienced such a nice, passionate and helpful owner as Mr. Morgenfurt! The site is right on the water, with a pier and table-tennis tables. Cycling around the lake and hiking from the site are possible. A supermarket is 10 minutes away by bike. Very beautifully located campsite directly on the lake with a pier. Perfect for swimming or SUP. Very friendly and helpful operator. Extremely clean sanitary facilities! In mid-September we paid only €25.50 for a motorhome and two people. Electricity consumption is read from the meter, which is fairer than a flat rate. Wonderful cycle paths around the lake start directly from the campsite. Highly recommended!✦Translating
