Beach parking, overnight prohibited

Lovely spot near a beach with showers. You may only park here during the day, provided you are under 2.5 m. Next door there is another place where you can still stay overnight, also for vehicles under 2.5 m.

It's prohibited to stay the night. They just put up a sign saying you can't park from 22:00 until 07:00.....

Very nice spot, but the police arrive around 9 a.m. and ask you to leave before 10 a.m. I’m in a converted van.

Beautiful if you have a vehicle lower than 2.5 m. At 8 a.m. people start moving around the area, and at 8:30 the police arrived.

One of the nicest places we stayed on this trip. Even though there were quite a few campers, there was enough space for everyone and it was quiet. Gorgeous view! And it's nice to walk along the beach to the town. With our 2.5-2.6 m height, we drove through millimeter by millimeter. :)

Great place for low-profile campers and campervans. Beautiful view. There is a 2.5 m height restriction on two sides.

Lovely park-up! Lots of vans, but everyone is very friendly and respectful. Steps lead down to the beach for swimming and a beach bar. Tap water at the back of the car park. Eight minutes’ walk to a supermarket and ten minutes by easy cycling to Altea itself. Great views and bins emptied regularly.

Level parking area on high ground, quiet, with the beach below reached by a staircase. There are tables with chairs, bins, etc. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place, thanks to the municipality of Altea. Keep it clean. The photo with the red-and-white barrier marks the 2.5 m entrance; drive past it. Only then do you reach the large parking area, whose entrance has a wooden beam slightly higher than 2.5 m. I was able to pass underneath with an L2H2 van. Supermarket within walking distance. Police pass regularly; it is fine. Restaurant below by the sea.

Unbeatable views, clean, water fountains, and complete peace and quiet at night.

A quiet place if you are from the area. Some French friends were stoned simply because they were foreigners.

It was a very good place for motorhomes until they installed the barrier. However, campervans still come and do the same thing as motorhomes, and that is allowed. I don’t understand it.

We loved it! A very quiet and family-friendly place! The only thing to improve is asking dog owners to pick up their dogs’ poop. We need to take care of the place so we can enjoy it!

Very quiet and level site with wonderful views. Several beach bars are nearby, but you cannot hear any noise. You can walk along the beach promenade.

Great place with a beautiful view and a cozy beach bar. Campervans up to 2.7 m can pass the barrier. The police patrol regularly, but there is no problem. Remember: no camping behavior, out of respect for the place and visitors. The site is closed from April 20 to April 22 because of Easter. Our favorite place near Altea.
