SY20 8PN, Tre'r-ddol
Been here?
A small hard-standing spot for 3 to 4 campers or roof tents in a woodland setting. The approach is extremely steep, narrow and winding, and vehicles over 2m x 6m are not recommended. It is quiet overnight with very little passing traffic. Phone signal is excellent.

The road up is very narrow and steep. We had a quiet night and there is almost no cars passing. I would not recommend to any long or wide cars..
The place is fantastic. The rate is because of the following: some person comes after you park and tell you it is her land and if you want to stay the night it’s £20. That is of course a scam and she should be reported to the police because of extorsion. Apart from that, if you come from the village, it is dangerously steep. Should be approached from the other road
Beautiful, secluded spot in the forest for vehicles up to Sprinter size (230 cm wide including mirrors), with a steep and narrow asphalt approach.
Unfortunately, we could not stay at this spot because we were surrounded by thousands of flies that covered our entire vehicle, making it impossible to open the doors. The road to the spot is very narrow and overgrown, allowing vehicles no wider than 2 m to pass. Therefore, we give it only two stars.
Great spot up in the woods. Nice and quiet overnight. A little slopey but not too bad. Would happily use again.
This was a really pretty spot along a tiny country lane. But after 10 mins of being here a silver Audi estate crept past really slowly taking pictures of my van. I was in the back sorting my son out before I could ask if there was a problem. Travelling with my toddler it made me feel uncomfortable so we moved on. Seems the Audi lives in the houses at the end of the lane.
a lovely quiet little spot. emphasis on little. and yes it's a steep and narrow road that might not be suitable to all vehicles.
Lovely spot; only a few cars passed by. Peaceful night's sleep.
Idylic. Road from south very steep, narrow and winding. Being that i'm in a car I had no problem getting up there, I can see how anything bigger than a VW T4/5 would have problems. Hardly any traffic apart from the odd tractor. I'd recommend it...
Fairly easy to reach in our Fiesta. We stayed in a TentBox and had plenty of room. We had an O2 signal. Very peaceful night.
Amazing quiet spot in the middle of the woodland. As below comments the lane to get here is extremely narrow and steep with only 1 passing place. We were ok in LWB sprinter but sides were in the bushes! Do not attempt in anything wider. Good phone signal on three and BT
We came from Tre'r-ddol. Extremely steep; with a 540 Ducato, 140 hp, weighing about 3.2 tonnes in reality, and all-terrain tires, we barely made it up! I think there would be no chance in the rain. Luckily, we have hill-descent control for tomorrow morning! After a lot of research and calculations, I concluded that the gradient is 17.5%.
