Small top-notch parking area facing the lake. The beach is supervised from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Super quiet and pleasant during the week.

Yes, the place still exists! In fact, it is a great spot. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. in bright sunshine. The meadows and parking areas were well occupied by local bathers, but not completely full. It would have been possible to stay there at any time. However, we decided to drive on because somehow we did not want to disturb the people there.

This place still exists and is truly as beautiful as described. There was nobody there apart from a few anglers who leave at night and in the morning. Waste containers and portable toilets are available. I can only recommend this idyllic place.

The place seems to no longer exist. There was a sign in front saying: Motor vehicles prohibited. We drove on.

Perfect recreation area. Wide sandy beach, sandy bottom, shallow near the shore, clear water, swings in the water (the Lithuanian Maldives?), changing cabins, several jetties, tables with benches in the shade, hammocks, portable toilets, containers, a level paved parking area, an active recreation zone, and a stream nearby. Suitable for spending the night in a camper. Crowded on weekends; on a normal day we were alone.
