Been here?
Large beach parking lot with no height limit, right on sandy beach. Free year-round (€6/day before September). Direct sea access, quiet, and considered safe. Since 29 May 2026, overnight parking prohibited and subject to €165 fines; daytime use allowed but awnings and outdoor furniture forbidden. Can flood after heavy rain though sandy ground remains hard; significant mosquito and fly presence in summer.

Overnight stays on the beach are no longer permitted. The municipal police check and threaten fines of €165. During the day you may park at the beach, but you may not extend an awning or place chairs or tables in front of the motorhome. A shame, but it seems it had got out of hand.
ATTENTION: The gendarmerie informs us that from 29 May 2026, parking on the beach overnight is prohibited!
Magnificent spot, alone on this beach. Apart from the wind, everything was perfect.
Impossible to park on the beach today—it is flooded! But the place is magnificent.
Still free until mid-June, amazing spot right on the beach, sandy beach and feel very safe.
Perfect place, very quiet, 10 metres from the sea! I arrived after 5 p.m., so I didn't have to pay.
We are alone in the beach car park! It's really great!
Cool place to drive a van directly onto the beach. I felt safe.
After the recent rains, this parking lot got partially flooded, but the sandy ground was still hard and it is so large and spacious that there is still plenty of room to park. Out of season there were a few others motorhomes there and we had a very pleasant stay. It was very quiet and we felt safe. At the end of October it was also completely free of charge. There are no services.
Really great place. There is a huge car park with no height restriction. You can park practically right beside the sea. From 1 September it is free; before that, I think it costs €6 per day. The only major drawback is the number of mosquitoes and flies, which is apparently normal in the region. It is hard to tolerate without fly screens.
It can't get better. We got a place in the front row. We did not use the toilets.....!!!
One of the only places in the south where you can wake up just a few steps from the sea, right on the sand.
Beautiful place. But be careful when there is strong wind! At night there was an evacuation because the water spread across the entire parking area; some vehicles had trouble leaving, and one is flooded.
Wonderful location! Very quiet! It says the height limit is 2 m, but campers can simply drive around the height barrier. I don't know whether this is also possible in high season. We stood on the spacious beach. You can also park on the asphalt. It is free in low season, otherwise €4–6. There are toilets and rubbish bins.
I know this beach well and come here often. It is not the sea rising; it is water coming back through the sand when the sea is very high. It does not happen often, only when the wind comes from the southeast and the weather is bad. But it is usually not dangerous; there is barely 10 cm. I am currently here for several days if the weather stays fine.
Great place to park on the beach, but be careful: we had to move around 10 p.m. because the sea was rising on the beach, after a neighbouring motorhome owner warned us. It may have been an exceptional phenomenon! We moved to the car park at the entrance.
Great place outside the season, absolute tranquillity, just the sound of the waves.
Dream spot in December! Quiet, a lot of space and just between beach and marshes. A fox came to say hello in the evening, there were flamingos all around the delta!
