Very good flat, quiet and secure location, thanks to the courthouse's security cameras. Bus 100 meters away to reach Prato.
Indeed, it is a parking area where you can sleep, but since it is in front of the courthouse, the Carabinieri woke us at 1 a.m. for an identity check. After a few questions, we were allowed to stay without any problem.
Safe area with public transport to reach Prato's historic center in 10 minutes. It is better to park inside, opposite the courthouse; we had a very peaceful night.
Good, quiet parking area with local motorhomes present. WARNING!! Do not go into the city by bicycle. Ours were stolen during the day in plain sight by cutting the lock. They said this is a serious problem here.
City parking, so there is urban noise. Nevertheless, it is bearable. I had a good night's sleep there.
We spent a very peaceful night; there are streetlights. I confirm that the station is 2 km away, with a train to Florence costing €5.60 return!
Was a bit wary as no one else was parked there but really peaceful night. Got train to Florence from Prato central about 25 minutes walk. €5. Lidl supermarket nearby. Would recommend
