Superb view worth the detour. Accessible parking area with a resurfaced access road. We spent a quiet night despite poor weather, but that is part of the charm of the place. There are beautiful hikes, especially the descent toward Lower Lough Erne. The path to the Magho cliffs is closed.
nice spot lovely views all around. stayed one night. 5 stars
Slightly sloping parking area, quiet at night, with a superb view of the lake! Busy in the evening and morning. Some young people were there during the evening but did not stay late. The trail down below the cliffs is closed. It is a shame they cleared the forest.
Extraordinary beautiful view. We got there at 20:00 barriers open. Drove to the very top. Didn't stay overnight but think we could have. They have put loads of very long speed bumps in so no chance of kids doing donuts now.
Still as good as ever, magnificent views, a very quiet night, and we were alone that night and this morning.
Stunning views, truly beautiful. Seems to be a major hangout spot for youths with cars though. I had three visitors, one parked near me until after 2am, but all kept to themselves. I stayed on a cold October night, but wouldn't go back in summer/warmer weather etc., it's probably party central. If that doesn't bother you, it's a lovely spot, with many alternatives nearby if you want to change.
Magnificent spot, but it was too windy to stay overnight. The road is one-way except for the final section.
