It is suitable for daytime breaks, walks, and picnics, and larger vehicles can reach it. Overnight stays are prohibited in the natural park, with signs and ranger enforcement reported.

We took a long break here. A great place with fresh drinking water. Accessible even with larger vehicles.
Beware: there are signs prohibiting caravans from parking in the national park.
NATURE PARK RILA MONASTERY: Overnight stays are prohibited; the rangers chased us away.
We stayed one night before visiting the monastery, then stopped again on our way back for a picnic. It was perfect, with the possibility of taking beautiful walks and a drinking-water spring. Several locals came to fill their containers.
We spent a wonderful, quiet night here. Nobody came to bother us; two or three locals passed by and said hello. We were here on March 3, 2025. Suitable for heavy vehicles; ours is 10 meters long and 3.80 meters high. @lesdiminulu
