Camping Lippstädter Lakeland

Yes, the whole thing is not as nice as advertised... We were there from Sunday to Tuesday, and the toilet was not cleaned even once. There was a lot of paper on the floor in one cubicle, and it was still there on Tuesday. The toilet, and even worse the shower, smelled of feces... simply disgusting! The price is definitely too high for such services! An acquaintance of ours was in Kühlungsborn at the same time, 200 metres from the Baltic Sea, and paid less than we did!

Camping in Paradise. Crystal-clear swimming lake with a sandy beach. Price: €20 for 2 people in a motorhome without electricity. Sanitary facilities accessed by card. Shower costs 30 cents. Motorhome pitches on a beautiful meadow. Showers and toilets are very large and clean! Washing-up sinks and washing machines available! Bread rolls can be ordered. Coin-operated soft-serve ice cream, coffee and drinks machines (including beer), bratwurst, salad and sweets!

Far too expensive for what is offered... the site does not even have a location. The pitches are large, but that is all. €19/2 people/night; electricity €0.60/kWh; water €1/80 L; showers €0.30/min; dog €3.50/dog/night. The pitches are so densely packed that after a little rain, water remains on the gravel and everything turns into a muddy landscape. Sap from the trees covers the entire motorhome.

Stay on 4 August 2024. We liked it here, even just for one night: the swimming lake is only a few steps away, the restaurant looked nice and cosy (but was closed on Sunday evening), there is a bread-roll service, even Grandma’s homemade jam, pedal go-karts and plenty of space for children. The sanitary facilities and service and waste-disposal areas were clean, there was plenty of room, and everything worked.

Everything is right here: well-kept site, generous pitches, clean sanitary facilities and great surroundings. This is our second time here and we will gladly return.

I was warmly welcomed and the site is well maintained. Great cycling tours are possible. The coffee barn is very nice and the waffles are really delicious. Sanitary facilities etc. are fine. Wi-Fi is included in the price but does not work at all. My LTE router also had no connection. €3.50 per dog “because there are simply too many of them” seems outrageous to me.

The campsite is beautiful and clean. Only 3 stars. 1) The site is in an extreme mobile dead zone: neither O2, Vodafone nor T-Mobile worked, and the site Wi-Fi was completely absent too. Three days without a connection is too much, especially in bad weather. 2) There are no paths for walking the dog; the only option is the adjacent asphalt road, which locals use as a racetrack.

Great large pitches in the motorhome area. Beautifully situated in nature. The lake is a few steps away. Free and clean. Sanitary facilities are fine and clean. Good value for money. We will return.

Very generous pitches on a beautiful, well-kept site. For campers at the far end of the site, it is a long walk to the sanitary building. Very good value for money. Wi-Fi currently out of order.

The campsite is busy, with no separation between pitches. People are packed close together. There is one sanitary building for the entire campsite; it is clean and tidy with all facilities. We paid €30 for one night with a camper and two people, including electricity. Showers cost 30 cents per minute. No Wi-Fi available.

Close to nature, free water, beautiful for hiking. There is also plenty for children to see. Farm shop, farm café and bread rolls were available too.
