Quiet gravel pull-off for one smaller camper on a hillside road near Frieswil, with tree cover and sweeping views over Lake Murten and Lake Neuchâtel, about 20 minutes from Bern. No services and no level ground, so wedges are recommended. Generally peaceful with occasional walkers, cyclists or passing cars; a few visits mention noisy locals or youths gathering in the evening. Not suitable for wide or large vehicles as the road is narrow.

Very pleasant spot, but when we arrived the place was occupied by three vans belonging to people doing model aircraft flying in the adjacent field.
The site is suitable for one night and offers a beautiful view, including the sunset. The vehicle must not be too wide, otherwise it will stand at an angle or partly on the road. A few cars drove through, but they were not disturbing.
Wonderful shaded spot with sublime views. A few walkers and cars, but very quiet, especially at night.
